Rang CVS several times to refill scripts, was told Dr needed to call them in, even though they were my regular meds. Called Dr to refill. Went in 3 days later and spoke to red haired pharmacist, he said he couldn't refill and I needed to call Dr. Again ?? Called Dr again and went in 2 days later to get much needed meds, again red haired pharmacist said we dont have orders and was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude about it. Went to Drs of ffg ice directlyafter and BP was 197/98. Had ENOUGH, TRANSFER TO HYVEE FOR ALL MEDS !! ?? Dr even said shed heard bad things about this particular pharmacy !! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Terrible experience. Switched to this pharmacy due to an insurance change and this is the closest location to my residence. My first time calling to inquire about the status of a new prescription that was to be sent over by the doctor, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and condescending, despite her own mistake of incorrectly entering my information. It was one of the most unpleasant phone calls I’ve had and being a person who’s worked in the service industry and with the public I always try to be polite and pleasant to anyone serving me. She questioned all the information I gave her, even my own birth date, and told me I called the wrong store. Each time I verified my information and store location she grew increasingly nasty. She made it clear I was wasting her time so I’ll have to find another new pharmacy. I will try to go back to my original HyVee pharmacy. They are the best pharmacy and friendliest staff and I’m sorry that I ever needed to change.

Had a $5. Dollar off coupon for shopping at cvs. Great customer service! Store is very clean and organized and has alot of general items not found at walgreens.i saved alot of money with their coupons with their rewards.

To much to explain, but they suck. not as much as Meijer, with the junkie looking female pharmacist with terrible homemade tattoos though.

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to work with, the pharmacist is unprofessional and rude at her best. There's two people working, no one inside and yet somehow the 8 cars at the window get ignored? I waited 15 minutes and went inside and it still took 10 minutes. I will not be coming back to this one.

Pharmacy technicians are constantly understaffed and plain rude to customers. With understanding, I have put up with this.However, this recently CVS archived/deleted one of my medication refills and would not refill my order until my doctor re-authorized, which caused withdrawal symptoms from not having the medication. Even after having their error called out by my doctor - CVS would not expedite getting it filled, given the symptoms I was under.CVS Corporate needs to provide more staff so they can properly attend to their patients.

I never liked CVS pharmacy. I only came here due to insurance related. Recently I was due for a refill on a very important medication and I get a notification that they are “OUT OF STOCK” how heck you going to be out of a medication that is very much needed and did not try to have it filled @ another location. A whole week went by no phone call or anything to try to accommodate the issue. It took for me to go in and ask a pharmacist. That was an inconvenience for me to the point I shouldn’t had to do that.

I can see how you would close the pharmacy section early on a Sunday because you close early. 6:00pm on a Saturday is completely unacceptable! Kinda need my new script now. Thanks for absolutely nothing!!

The CVS on MacArthur is the WORST cvs in Springfield. The staff is rude, they always claim they “can’t find” your prescription when you show up and then magically it appears while you’re waiting, only to then get additional time in their lovely store while you wait on their staff to fill it. Not apologetic, not empathetic, not professional. If you want a good CVS, go to the one inside Schnucks on Chatham Rd. They’re the best out there.

Every time you go to the pharmacy it’s always a long wait it’s like as if they only have two people working. They have a two drive through and you can only pick up from one. They need more employees. You go inside and the wait is even longer this has got to stop. Customer service is ok though nice attitudes. Just seem understaffed and tired.
