Awesome veterinary clinic! My cat dislocated his ankle and a super expensive surgery would have been needed, but Dr.Holbrook was able to wrap it up and let scar tissue form helping my cats mobility tremendously!!!!

The best vet clinic I’ve been to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My pups love their doctor! I took my first two pups there until they passed. My two current pups go now! I will always highly recommend Capitol Illini!!

New in town, with a sick doggo, I was desperate for help. When I called asking to be seen, they initially offered a next day appointment. When I explained that I didn’t think we could wait, they fit us in. Excellent care and a quick diagnosis and cure. I can’t thank them enough!

Definitely the place to go. My wife had taken our cat to the Chatham clinic and had a prescription to pick up there. She called them, paid over the phone for the prescription, and told them I would be by after I get off of work at 5pm. Even though the website says 6pm, the workers in Chatham decided to leave at 5:27 as I was pulling into their facility lot. Called Springfield, they apologized for Chathams lack of communication, and still filled the prescription at 5:50pm. We will only be going to Springfield if we can get away with it. I've had nothing but good experiences with the location on Wabash!

We brought our llewellen setter to our vet (a 9 1/2 yo) for a blown CCL (ACL in people). Tricky expensive surgery to permanently restabilize the knee. Dr. Christina Holbrook was recommended as the best regional surgeon for the procedure (and our vet is no slouch either). Took the recommendation and never looked back. A caring and competent surgeon.

I have taken my 2 kittens here twice. They came from a shelter and are not huge fans of getting in a carrier, let alone going to the vet. Everyone from reception, to vet techs, to the veterinarian are such kind people. My kitties have done great each time we’ve come. Everyone is so sweet and patient with them. You can tell these people really care about your pets, and that they will be in good hands. I attached a picture of my kittens because they’re too cute not to ?
