I shop here due to their very competitive pricing; however, it can be difficult at times to find certain items; and the fact that they now have only one cashier is disconcerting. What has happened to them—self-checkout machines do not greet you with a smile.

My Aldi trips are always simple, quick, and stress-free. The employees at this Dirksen location are kind and helpful. I'd like to give a shout-out to one cashier in particular, Corinna, who helped me unload my cart onto the belt when she saw I was holding a sleeping baby as I shopped. Thank you for your act of kindness today!

Aldi on North Dirksen now has 4 self check lines. I'm thankful that there are still 2 check out lanes with people. I really like the idea of keeping people employed.
