Final update: A week and a half later I finally get a phone call back. There was zero accountability taken. I was told that the car wash was actually in working order. When I was originally told it wasn’t. It almost makes the situation worse. This is what they are saying a working car wash is supposed to look like. but when I physically went through the car wash, it only put three chemicals on my car and barely rinsed it. So user beware. This is what their operational car wash does to your car.
Update 2: After 1 week and three voicemails with no return phone call I still have the junk on my car. All I am calling for is to find out what chemical was left on my car to figure out the best way to get it off. Do not go here. Horrible service. Equipment that allows you to go in even being out of service. No indicator that it is out of service and costumer service that is useless! Zero accountability and zero help.
Update 2: Called again on Friday evening because after my car got wet it dried with some nasty “something” on my paint. And now I have two spots on my roof where the paint seems tacky. I wanted suggestions on how to get this off as they may have an ideas what was on my car. Never got a call back and it is now Tuesday. I spent $35 on a different car wash that did not work, $50 on car wash supplies and spent 4 hours SCRUBBING my car. Will not be going back to this wash. The drive to Fox Lake will be worth it.
Update: I got a call back and apparently there is supposed to be a cone in front of that bay. The car wash was out of service but someone must have taken the cone. I am expecting coupons in the mail for another car wash. I had suggested that something besides a cone should be an indicator that the wash is out of order (shut the pay screen down, garage door, etc)
I am not one to be super picky about car washes. But I will say this, my car came out of that car wash dirtier than it went in. I chose the $15 car wash and when I chose to print the receipt what came out was an empty piece of paper. I went to the left bay that had the automatic cleaning brushes. I’m not sure what they are called. I am pretty sure I only got half of the $15 car wash that I chose. I didn’t get the multicolored soap or the wax or the “hot carbona” whatever and the rinse was a drizzle at most. The brushes that wash the car left marks all over my car. The marks are all over my windshield, my trunk, and the whole top of my car. And I have water spots all over. Feel free to see the pictures. I tried calling, but I got a voicemail so we will see if I get a call back. I will not be going back to that car wash. I don’t know if the water is dirty or the brushes are dirty or what. But I would steer clear of this place if you want to clean car.

The Touch Free Bay does an amazing job! The car wash looked brand new coming out with awesome soap coverage, high pressure, & dryers! Definitely worth the $15 we paid!

Manual car wash is always leaking either at the top. This time at the handle, I had to come home and take a shower. Don't appreciate it and will not be back. I'll go to Wisconsin on Hwy 12.

This place is the worst. I stopped going here last year, but figured I'd give it another try on a nice day, but no luck. The owners don't maintain the equipment or the cleaning chemicals. Couldn't get one vacuum to work with a dollar bill and there's no CC option. I barely got any presoak soap and the foam brush was leaking like crazy from the wand. I cut my losses and am heading to the one in front of menards in Fox Lake. Garbage!

Attempted to use the automatic car wash. They have 2, the other one was being worked on. Pulled in, it sprayed soap all over my car and stopped. I waited about 5 min. Called the number, had to leave a message. Pulled over to the manual wash to rinse the soap off my car. Paid $14 for this. Called and left another message, but no call back yet. Terrible place. Ist and last time there.

Cmon, this place needs to do better. Fix the machines, get the money changer working. You can't go to a car wash that doesn't take change and the change maker doesn't work!

Don’t go here. The touchless broke on me 3 times. First time I got free wash coupons. Second time never received any. 3rd time no call back at all. Also the machine never gives change. Owes me $6 from last time. Useless
