Justin and team have done an AMAZING job with teaching Charlie the commands that we needed him to obey. Justin was incredibly thorough when explaining the use of the commands and ensuring that not only my wife and I but our children as well were not only comfortable using the commands but that Charlie was following the commands we were taught. We will definitely come back if we choose to do more advanced training and will definitely recommend Woof Beach to any new or existing dog owners looking to get training. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work!

This place is awesome! We brought our Hermie there and Chloe made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. They took care of our dog and did a fantastic job grooming him. Do not hesitate to stop in. Thank you Chloe, we’ll be seeing you soon.

Both my dog and I have had a great experience with Woofbeach Sands. Justin was great to work with and the facility was very accommodating.

We put a rescue Rottweiler 14 months old in their basic training and they delivered in 6 to 8 weeks a nice Prince. He is working within the pack of Dutchess 4 yr Rottweiler and Duke 5 yr American Pit Bull which were home train only. The staff in training and spa care amazing and awesome working with our three dogs in their facility. Justin, Taylor, Chloe and Eric the manager have earned my respect as a dog owner. If I get another rescue or purchase my next spot will by Woofbeach Sands. And Chloe has made our dogs enjoy day spa. Thank you and Happy New Year to all. Lewis

Great place to bring your dog in for training! Big shoutout to Justin and the rest of the staff, they are amazing and they really do love and care for your dogs! We were a bit hesitant at first because of the price, but it is worth it. Trust the process like they say and you will have a whole new dog at home!

Jim and his crew were excellent instructors to both our lab puppy and to my fiancé and I. With Jim's help, we have much more control over our dog on and off leash and in the home. We will definitely be taking our next dog(s) here as well.

After we adopted 2 German Shepherd Puppies that were brothers and having a 4 yr old German Shepherd at home already we knew we needed experienced trainer to help us. After researching we decided on Woofbeach in South Elgin. Jim is amazing ! The care and patience they show is wonderful. So knowledgeable. Jim can solve any problem you may be having and with 3 we have had them all! Yes, dog training is expensive, but when you choose to have a dog, you also must be a responsible dog owner and take the responsibility of training your dog properly so that they don’t eat your couch, or your neighbor. Highly recommend Woofbeach in South Elgin. Jim and Jr. are awesome ?

Asia is such an attentive groomer. She has great with both big and small dogs. My dog is only 7 pounds and can be tricky to cut her nails, but Asia is the best. Even with a tip, it is also cheaper than pet smart to get nails done they don't charge extra to buff the nails off and get them smooth.

This was an excellent experience with Jim and his entire team. My 4 month old German Shepherd puppy was well trained for both on and off leash and is doing fantastic several months after completion of the training without having to return. I would highly recommend this training facility for any dog.

I'm thrilled to share our fantastic experience with Jim and the dedicated team at Woofbeach Sands. We initially brought our puppy Rex in, who was as wild and mischievous as they come. He required constant supervision - a nibbler of everything and a bundle of uncontained energy at home.Jim and the team completely transformed Rex. The changes we've seen have been nothing short of miraculous. He is now calm, attentive, and follows commands with ease. We're particularly impressed with how well he does off-leash - it's a game changer!Taking Rex to our children's sporting events and seeing him receive compliments on his good behavior. We owe all this progress to the effective and compassionate training provided by Woofbeach Sands.Their approach to dog training is comprehensive and above all, effective. If you're on the fence about where to take your dog for training, don't hesitate to choose Woofbeach Sands. The transformation they've brought in our Rex is the best endorsement we could give. Five stars without hesitation! Thanks again, Jim and team, for everything you've done for our family and our Rex.

The staff is amazing! My dog Bentley is very anxious and the trainers and Asi, the groomer, all took the care and patience that he needed. Jim did individual training woth my mom and I and he couldn't have been better! He explained everything in detail and corrected us to make sure that we didn't confuse our dog. He is truly an amazing and gifted trainer! I would encourage every dog owner to go here for training or grooming.

I paid $2,800 for advanced off leash training, only to receive back a dog at the end of 2 months that still could not walk on a leash without pulling. I was told by Woof Beach trainers to continue her training at home by keeping her in a pinch collar all hours of the day, giving her corrections. I attempted to use the collar as instructed by trainers who I thought trustworthy. After 3 hours into my dog wearing this collar at home, she became lethargic, vomited, and had diarrhea the next morning. This was not what I signed up for, and I in fact only enrolled in this program after a Woof Beach manager agreed with me at orientation my dog would not need to be trained in a pinch collar. I was told by the district manager of all locations around the Chicagoland area that my dog becoming ill was normal. The extensive use of these collars was justified with lighthearted analogies, but the problem is these words don't align with best practices found anywhere. After doing my own research, it is a quick google search on "the correct way to use a pinch collar", which trainers at Woof Beach call "Herm collars" after the manufacturing company, to learn that it is black and white how long dogs should be wearing these collars- which is no longer than a training session- between 15 minutes to an hour. Yet Woof Beach advises owners to keep dogs in these collars all day. I have been reassured of my lifetime warranty and that my dog can be trained using other methods. What this company doesn't seem to want to acknowledge is that I would NEVER have paid for this service if it weren't for being lied to by their employee from the start. I wouldn't knowingly give a penny to or associate with a dog training business that is so against best practices and cruel. I was impressed at orientation seeing 20+ dogs sitting on beds without moving, thinking they must be working magic at this place. I was excited to train my dog with Woof Beach! I now know dogs at Woof Beach are being trained under endless hours of corrections and punishment, like circus animals. These methods are beyond inappropriate. No other pet owners should be told their dog becoming sick is normal when it is these training methods that are not normal. And no pet should experience this unless with full transparency and understanding by owners. I was not given that opportunity as I was lied to from the start. And the solution of this company is that I continue training with them. No thank you.

I brought in my 1 year old shepherd/pitbull mix. She has TONS of energy and LOVES to jump on people, and had a bit of reactivity to dogs. I admit I was super skeptical and very nervous leaving her all day but every time we’d get there, she would wag her tail and practically drag me inside. She’s now 2 and she’s doing so well! My friends and family totally notice a difference and how much better behaved she is! She’s also very chill around other dogs at the training facility (see photo—I didn’t even recognize my own dog when I walked in and saw this!!) and I’m better able to distract her at home. The trainers are amazing people who know what they’re doing and genuinely care about the dogs. If I ever get another big dog I’ll definitely bring them back to this place. This is the 3rd training I tried and I went with Woof Beach because I was realizing I didn’t have the time to train her myself with consistency and because it was super convenient to drop her off and pick her up with my schedule.
