Monday 10/7 I made an appointment for the following day, 10/8 at 4:45 p.m. I arrived to my appointment time 5 minutes early for the front desk tech to tell me my appointment was at 5:10, I showed her the confirmation email that stated 4:45 but also mentioned when someone was communicating with me via email on 10/7 they ended the email with “appointment @ 5” and I just assumed human error on their end . When I asked the tech why my appointment was changed not only to 5, but 5:10 she told me she didn’t know, she also told me they only make appointments every 30 minutes so I couldn’t have been able to make an appointment at 4:45, yet you can go on their website as I did sitting in their office and make an appointment for any quarter hour and she claimed my appointment was 5:10 - which isn’t on the half hour.
Why does this matter so much? Because my cat already suffers from anxiety, doesn’t handle stress well, and had already been panting in the 5 minute car ride because of how worked up he was. The tech then proceeded to tell me I would have to wait until my appointment time at 5:10 as there was others to be seen before me, mean while an appointment who showed up 10 minutes passed their appointment time was seen right away.
We were then put into a room which I could only assume is the room that they usually euthanize in, as it was literally just an empty room with a table that looked very unlike the others, very inviting - not really tho.
It’s unfortunate. We have moved around vets these last couple of years because a lot of them seem to lack in customer service. Maybe we will be back, as we have had good experiences with the actual doctors but i definitely left yesterday with a sour taste in my mouth.

Vet Visit was way to short, booked an appointment for 9:20 and somehow checked both rabbits we brought in, in under 30 minutes(9:49 when I paid). I just lost a rabbit due to a believed heart disease and I feel like if the vet visit was more thorough his death could have been prevented, will not be going to this vet ever again, and will be going to the other one I have found with my last remaining rabbit.
Very disappointed in the service
Edited for the response that ACC has given
The appointment wasn't under me and under my fiance, and it was in June for two rabbits...

Love Randall Pointe Animal Care Clinic. Awesome doctors and only place I would bring my pups. Been going there for over 15 years - complete personalized caring and excellent follow up. Just the best - love the entire staff!

The staff here were incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone from the front desk staff to the doctors were calm, kind and professional. They kept us informed every step of the way and the bedside manner was impeccable. They explained everything thoroughly and gave us all of our options. We were able to make well informed decisions because of this. They took a very stressful situation and made it the best it could be. I would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We switched here from ACC of Fox Valley in Algonquin because we obtained a discount program through our employer.
1. The people at the front desk do not know what they are doing. They kept insisting to me that they do not do that and that any claims have to go through insurance when I told them it was a discount plan, not insurance. Now I have to go through a process of getting my card charge adjusted
2. My two year old son kept saying he had to use the restroom and when I asked the front desk "I know the sign says no public restrooms but my son has to pee" I was told no. So i had to take him to the parking lot to pee or he would pee his pants.
3. The vets here the last two times have been very pushy on the vaccines AND every test. I understand they should say they recommend XYZ but pushing it is a bit too much.
4. They are no longer willing to go through Chewy with written prescriptions. Meaning, you need to drive there to pick the prescription up and then go through Chewy.
Nice veterinarian but the pushing was too much and along with the other issues. Get some public restrooms people. This is a vet, not a coffee shop.

Just called and tried to have my Dog seen for bleeding from the Rearend.(Shes fixed).
I was told that they are "TOO BUSY" and could not see her and gave me a vet's number in St. Charles, which closed in 30 minutes.
Had to find a Emergency VET. So much for your CARE & COMPASSION for an Animal that you have been seeing for years! What Joke your "BUSINESS" has become!
In response to your response. The CSR Did not state that there was NO VET ON DUTY. She stated that you were to TOO BUSY and Bailey could not be seen Friday on an EMERGENCY BASIS and a Vet appointment was not available until mid week, this week. The lack of COMPASSION and CARE is quite evident. You just lost a LOYAL Customer.

Dr Courtney Poders is a highly knowledgeable and caring vet. She takes the time to explain things and fully assess your dog. Max and I trust her 100% and that is a great feeling!

Oh man, this place is fantastic! I take my puppy here and drive up from Oswego, absolutely worth it. We take him to see Courtney and she is beyond incredible with him. His ears perk up when we say it's time to go to the vet. Can't recommend enough.

Animal Care Clinic of Randall Pointe is the best. The staff is so friendly and has such care for the animals. My dog wags her tails going in and coming out from her visits.

I appreciate very much, how patient and understanding they were to help me with a solution and making a stressful time a lot easier to deal with. And how relaxed they were when deal with my Shouty pouty. He was a very happy and comfortable puppy.
