I had been with a different company for years. I recently contacted Blackhawk propane (lakes gas) ans they sent guys out to hook me up under them. Mark was the man I spoke with when he knocked on my door. Mark was very kind and professional. Best experience ever with a propane company. This man deserves a raise!

Mark and Freddie came out to my new home today to set a propane tank and run a line to the exterior of my house. The line was to be left near an exterior wall and connected to the service at a later date when the gas piping in the home is completed. I came home to a yard that reeked of propane and found that they left the tank on. It appears that 30% of the 500pound tank has leaked out in my yard. Working with explosive gasses should be taken seriously. I do not trust this company to safely provide fuel to my home, and neither should you.

Been with them for 6 years and this year they changed their payments program. Highly disappointed and overpaying now more than ever. Will most likely find another service in the spring.

Funny how fast they get their empty tank off your property when you put a real supplier's tank in its place. Less than an hour. Great job.

Rude staff. A family member has their tank and called to talk to the staff but they were incredibly rude. When they called back to have their tank removed due to the way they were treated, they staff hung up without giving them any information. Do better

The lady that answers the phone is incredibly rude and for that I want to give no stars. When I called last she hung up on me. I’m changing my lp gas provider.

I would give zero stars if I could. The office person, Deb, is unbelievably rude and demeaning on the phone. Not sure who gives her the okay to treat customers like that…. We are charged over $1,000 each time they come out to fill. Tank was just filled at the end of February (300 gallons) ran out just this past weekend and charged another $1,200…It was so cold in our house and then on top of it our furnace ended up going out because of the propane running out and they did not care one bit!! We were also told by the worker we called after hours number that if we call at 8am on Saturday we will not be charged the $350 service fee. That Deb said we will charged anyways. We waited three hours in a cold house without any heat. We have tried to ask for a tech to come out and inspect the tank for a possible leak because it does not seem right for how much propane we are apparently going through and getting charged for. It seems like a huge inconvenience for them to come out and inspect the tank. Tried explaining this, they do not care and only want money..Very poor customer service. Do not recommend!!

I have never been treated so rude and disrespectful. If corporate saw how my wife and i were treated and talked to, I guarantee Phil the counter guy wouldn't have a job. Iwas a 10 year loyal customer. Will not be back..

This company is very fairly priced and has a staff of employees that you can tell really care about their jobs! I've been using there propane since the first time I bought my first tank of propane. I would definitely recommend this provider to anyone in search of fairly priced propane. Unfortunately, its very hard to find colustomer service like this anymore. They've made a happy customer out of me.

We have two propane tanks from this co. 1 large one and 1 small. We had a leak in the small tank and they told us there wasn't a leak, also they were very rude on the phone and they came out and fixed it instead of crediting us. You could hear it leaking and was leaking for at least 24 hrs. Another time we checked our large tank and it was 40% full. They came out and we told them to put 30% in. Therefore it would be 70%. Not so. We only have 60%. We told the guy and he told us sometimes the valve gets stuck.As soon as our propane gets low, we will find a different provider.
