Monika was so sweet and wonderful to work with. She was extremely patient with my indecisiveness and truly wanted to help me make unbiased decisions. She took so much extra time and energy to help me through the process. She was also very knowledgeable. The store is very clean and has a good selection of gowns in various price ranges and styles.

Going into dress shopping I was EXTREMELY nervous! The second I walked in and talked with Andrea my worries were immediately at ease! I feel like she really listened to what I was looking for and nailed a lot of the dress picks right on the head while offering her own expertise/advice. She really helped me put the day into perspective as well as helping me picture myself on my wedding day! I could not recommend them enough!

Andrea is truly wonderful! She was incredibly patient and kind. I could not have asked for a better shopping experience. I will be recommending Genevieve’s to anyone I know who is getting married. My dress is perfect! Thank you again Andrea ?

My experience at Genevieve’s was fantastic! The stylist I worked with, Andrea, was great to work with. She listened to what styles I wanted to try on, gave good/useful advice & input, and stuck to my budget. She has a lot of knowledge that made my experience so much better! Best Bridal store ever! I worked with Andrea, she was very patient and kind. She really worked hard to see my vision and allowed me to look through everything in store and pick/look for myself as well as bringing me recommendations. I never felt rushed and said YES to my dress! This place has remarkable service and amazing selection.

I had the best appointment with Monika. I was nervous as a wedding dress is such a big decision and I didn't know what would look good on me. Monika listened to what I liked or didn't like based on the dresses I was trying on and she picked more dresses based on my feedback. Not once did I feel stressed or pressured with her. She figured out exactly what I wanted and found me the PERFECT dress. I will highly recommend this shop. Thank you!!

Today was my first and last day searching for my wedding dress thanks to Genevieve's! Andrea was incredibly kind, helpful and supportive, and it was so easy to fall in love with the dress we found. We were able to take our time, build my style up, figure out the details and styles I liked to find the perfect dress! The vibe in the store is also so friendly and welcoming, which really helped me feel effortlessly comfortable. I am so grateful I went to Genevieve's! Highly recommend!

As I was pulling into the lot, I saw a girl taking a picture with the "I said yes sign" and when I was in the shop another girl also found her dress, so I was really excited. Let me just start by saying that my stylist Monika was SO GOOD! She was informative, patient, calming, and overall paid attention to what I was looking for. The boutique also had a well curated collection! The dresses themselves were more detailed and unique in my opinion. All the dresses I tried on I had not seen at other shops. The shop itself was also very cute and I was one of two apts during that time. The day ended with happy tears and one more girl taking a picture with the sign Loved it!

I am so glad I shopped here. They we're the most exceptional of all shops I visited. I started my dress shopping in December of 2023 and visited a series of bridal shops in Chicago/the surrounding suburbs. I quickly found, as I'm sure many brides do, that the wedding gown experience is uniquely tricky. You generally only have time to try 5 or so dresses in an appointment, and they are primarily chosen by the stylist based on your ideas. You don't get to calmly/lazily peruse until you find your favorite. While many shops excelled at one aspect or another of this unique experience Genevieve's truly excelled at everything. Their dress selection was high-quality/gorgeous and, just as importantly, the stylist was incredibly skilled. I worked with Andrea Van Cleave. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She listened to what I thought I liked and insightfully walked me around the shop so we could jointly select the dresses to try on. This cut down on time spent trying on dresses that would never work - which is critical in the limited time frame all bridal appointments provide. She was friendly, supportive, energetic and incredibly skilled at listening to my often vague wishes for a dress and procuring the perfect accessory/dress change up to match. She was incredibly courteous when my appointment ran late (when she did not have to be.) And when I came back to finalize my dress I saw another bride thankfully bringing the team cookies! Very unsurprising. I wanted to be sure I wrote this review as thanks for how uniquely wonderful the shop and its service were. Many of the shops I visited were good but this place is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and take the time to stop here. You truly won't regret it.
