“Hello Fez and especially you Dave.Jerry of the Chicago Ball Busters,which are friends of ours from Lombard and the Back to the '50s St. Paul car shows said I should look you all up to finish fixing up "Grumpy's Ride". Well I broke it bad and it had to be rent back and rewelded back together.Dave did a great job on realigning back where it should have been and corrected the front end ride height so I could put a jack under it once more AS WE WAITED.That alone was a miricle in more ways than one especially after I couldn't even find anyone to look at it both before and after the front end repairs were made.Now Grumpy's Ride is better than it ever was way back in 2009 when we first got it.Both Mrs. and Mr. Grumpy want to thank Jerry and everyone at Stan's Service,especially Dave that Jerry said I should talk to,for bringing our only toy we have left to have fun with in our old age.We were treated so nice by all on you and we will never forget this.John "Grumpy" and Elaine "Snow White".”

The folks at EGM were kind enough to take my car and replace the battery for me although bringing in parts and asking the shop to change them is akin to bringing your own food to a restaurant and asking them to cook it. I truly appreciate their customer service and would not hesitate to use this shop again.”

This visit, I brought my new car- 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan, only 8 weeks old. It had a door ding that chipped down to the metal. Jerry had me come in the very next day after I called- I was in and out in less than 45 minutes and I even got a little bottle of paint in case I ever want to try to do touch ups in the future. They are always so kind, and genuinely care about your vehicle like it is your own.
As a woman who has gotten varying levels of service when it comes to “car-related things” over the years at other businesses, it is refreshing to have such a consistent, positive experience.

The job was done within a day and was the smoothest possible sailing I've ever had with a shop. Labor cost was a little high, but absolutely justified with the work that was done. “I own a 2017 1.6 Turbo with a GDI engine, and after 60,000 miles of regular maintenance—including full-synthetic oil changes and using Shell gasoline as recommended—I found that my car required a valve and piston cleaning due to carbon buildup. Despite keeping the car clean and well-maintained, this is a common issue with GDI engines over time.
Initially, I planned to tackle this job myself, but due to time constraints and the need for an extra set of hands, I decided to look for professional help. After conducting thorough research, I discovered that Sparks in Lake Zurich offers Walnut Blasting services, which is exactly what I needed.
I reached out for an estimate, and the quote I received was both fair and transparent, especially considering the equipment and time required to effectively clean the valves and pistons. Jose Carrillo, a representative from Sparks, was particularly helpful, providing clear information on the best time to drop off my car and an estimated timeline for the service.
The communication with Sparks has been excellent so far, and although I haven’t yet had the service completed, I am already confident in this business, enough to leave a 5-star review. I will update this review once my vehicle has been serviced”
