“Every Saturday, I take my 95 year old grandfather to lunch then shopping at this ALDI for his weekly groceries. It has become a tradition that I am thankful for. ALDI is always clean and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. And, of course, their prices are better than any other grocery store.”
“I always go there for my fruits and vegetables. I can always count on great quality. They chose my watermelons and cantaloupe for me.The Amish tomatoes are so delicious”

“It honestly isn't any different than any other grocery store I've ever been to. Although the prices do seem higher than I was expecting. I don't think they pay a sales tax but there are definitely better deals to be had elsewhere in town. Maybe if you live on base it's a good deal to not have to drive out on town instead”
“Unbelievably great experience love the small town helpfulness all the employees truthfully care not only did they set aside a product that I called about my little boy broke a jar of pickles on accident, and I would’ve gladly cleaned it and paid for it, but they were adamant about cleaning it and selves, and not having me worry about it I don’t care how much it costs the service is better than anywhere around.”
“Friendly and helpful staff. Chicken is good but sides need work. I ordered ahead: chicken, mac and cheese, and potato wedges. I was a few minutes early for the pickup but the potatoes tasted like they were fried the day before. Not worth eating.”
“I miss the way Rural used to be. They have moved everything around. A lot of their staple items are missing. I mean, they still have a large selection, but I feel like it Big is changing for the worst. Hopefully, this spring items will return.”
“Love the selection of fruits and vegetables, and the obscene amount of snack cakes and cookie options that put the local upscale grocer to shame. Wide variety of staples. Decent quality Ice creams and frozen treats without breaking the budget.”
“I usually go to the one in Belleville but sometimes I go to this one if the other one is out of something or if I can't find what I'm looking for in the Bakery at one I know the other one more then likely will have it. The staff are always so friendly as well.”

“I only go here to pick up a few things, prices here can be ridiculous, service here is ok, I don't order from the deli in this store since my wife left there, let's just say it's not the cleanest place in town, I'll leave it at that.”
“We just moved to the area from Indy and this was, by far, the best experience I've ever had with a butcher. If you're going fir the first time, be aware that looks are deceiving and you are indeed in the right place. He has his butcher shop right by his house.That said, the prices are extremely reasonable and better than store prices. You also get to talk to the person actually doing the work. He doesn't do anything but cash anymore but he does have an ATM to use. I was surprised at the vacuum wrapped meat rather than the paper wrap I'm used to from big city butchers. Needless to say, my expectations for my meat vendors shot up considerably.10/10 from me and I'll be doing all my meat business here from now on.”
“Has variety of products in organized fashion. Refrigerated and frozen food items, fresh vegetables and household products are in supply. Self check out or cashier makes it a quick trip. Household decor better than any other area DG and is visually pleasing due to how well organized they keep the store. Convenient location too!”

“It has everything that you would expect out of a dollar general, but the building is ancient and filthy. It's not exactly the best neighborhood so it's perfect for the area, I guess. I just had a craving for chocolate peanut clusters and Blue Takis”

“Even if they're short staffed, the staff here are always really friendly and polite. They talk to you like a person and start small talk. The shelves are always stocked and neat. They work really well with what they have”
“I really like the Dollar general store that we have in Caseyville IL .I have found several bargains .I found a little stool that I use all the time, laundry baskets ,dog treats, eye makeup, readers,,cell phone cables,etc. All of the D.G. stores have a lot of choices.”
“Dollar general in new Athens stays open till 10 pm Monday through Sunday and prices on somethings are cheeper than Marissa Dg and top it off with closing an hour early all week . So the price difference is probably due to 7 less hours in Marissa.”
“The bakery department is exceptional. Love the cake they decorated for my mom's 91st birthday. Such a lovely job, with such attention to detail on the flowers and tasted as good as it looked! Made her day! Thank you!”

She was very friendly, helpful, made sure the new glasses I tried on were very comfortable, compared measurements from my old glasses to the new, and more! She was even multi tasking and answering calls too cuz it was a busy time of day. She offered to also tighten my old glasses cuz they are a bit loose from being old. Anyways, I wanted to give them a great review! I plan to come back for all of my Vision needs. Thank you Logan! :)”

“NYX NYX NYX! The best worker at the Belleville Walmart! She went the extra mile when everyone else wouldn’t help me! My landlord tried saying I didn’t get a money order to pay him rent. NYX went over & beyond and found the money order serial number & helped me catch my landlord in a lie. Thankyou so much NYX you were so pleasant, helpful, understanding. I appreciate you! We need more great people like you in the world!”

“This dollar general was very crowded as there where boxes from the truck lining the isles. Two women working tirelessly away stocking literally an entire store full of boxes. So many idk where theyll fit all those extras Im sure are mostly toys and gift sets 4 the holidays. The 4th star goes to the 2 ladies tag teaming it, not the company who wont provide an extra set of hands to help them deal with it.”
