This place is the worst nail salon. On top of arguing with me on the color of nail polish I wanted to use, she gave me a very poor service. I kindly asked her to finish the cuticle cleaning because she barely touched it and she just ignored me. She then wanted to put the polish over the nails not properly cleaned as she did on my toes but I stopped her and had to go get my manicure done somewhere else. I had to go and pay again at a different nail salon where they gave me a great service.

I called the night before to schedule an appointment with someone who I always go to for the next morning. I then call the next morning to confirm my appointment for the lady to tell me that no one wrote me down but to come at 12 because she has an opening. I then go to the shop at exactly 12 to be turnt down service from her because “she got confused”. Unacceptable and I’ve been a customer for a while and am very disappointed. I rescheduled my whole day just to come get my nails done , just to be told I never had an appointment . Makes sense. Never again

One of the best manicure/pedicures I’ve ever had. It’s a week later and not even a chip (regular polish). I’ll be back next time I’m in Skokie!
Cleanliness: Excellent
Stylist: I’m only sorry I don’t remember her name but she was professional, attentive, and did an excellent job.

Bad attitude poor service over priced and not interested in resolving a situation pleasantly!! This was the response from the owner when getting the no chip I did not like the color they pushed me to get it . Then it chipped in less than a week he was not happy to redo the nails jut the 3 chipped ones!! How long would the rest last haha I just walked out do not recommend at all

My girlfriend recently moved to the Skokie area for work and I had to find a new nail salon! I found Vivian’s because they are the only place close that does acrylic… I started going a young girl there that does a really good job was taking care of me, unfortunately everytime I go she’s busy now and my girlfriend and I had to go to someone else and the people my girl gets do a terrible job ! We recently went in and got our sets done and they were not quality at all they pealed the first couple days we went back and they tried to charge my girlfriend… they fixed out nails by the time we got home out “no chip” chipped all over which you can see in the pictures. Not happy at all with the service and we are done with the salon!

My nail tech always gets my feet right! I have ingrown toenails from standing all day for work. She is gentle and gets them out. I don't mind paying to keep a regular appointment.Price: $30.00

Make sure you go to Nancy! She is the best!! I’ve been her client for years & my nails always look great; I’m always in & out in about an hour which I appreciate because I’m extremely busy!

The last 2 times I have tried to give them a chance I have been disappointed. My first experience here back in 2014 before their remodel was not good. I figured after the remodel, maybe some things have changed. Their work is terrible. I went in for a pedi and the polish was old and my pedi did not come out like it usually does. I then took my daughter for a French manicure, and it's like rocket science explaining to them not to make the line super thick. I was then charged $35 and another amount showed up on my statement. The customer service here is a joke. The regulars keep them in business because I cannot see how any new clients are attracted here. Keep fresh polish in stock, focus on customer service and I will gladly support this local small business.

Brenda did my no chip, white tip. I liked it but once in the car I kept looking at it and decided I didn’t love it. So I called and spoke to her and asked if I can change my color. She was more than willing to help me. So she called the owner and since she was busy with appts, he came in to do my nails. I was really surprised at the willingness of the staff to make sure I was satisfied. I was charged an additional $20 to remove my color and get it redone. Both Brenda and the owner did a great job!
