I wanted to leasse a Jeep from them but got extremely disappointed from the dishonesty.I took a Jeep Summit for a test drive, the sales manager quoted me $750-$790 a month to leasse it and said that I can take the car home for 24 hours to try it.When I went back to the dealership the day after to close the deal, he totally changed the price he quoted me and upped it to $880 which is unacceptable.I explained him multiple times that what they are doing is wrong and that he should honor the price they quoted me but he didn't want to honor their price.

Ridiculous service wait time even with appointment. 2 hours and waiting for a battery change. First 1 and half hours just to tell me about other services I needed/recommend. Trying to sell me every service on the books. Just need a battery change.

I am attempting to be a first time buyer with any car i can currently get my hands on. i have zero credit and i stumbled upon an ad for this god forsaken dealership telling me that good credit bad credit and even NO credit could be approved. i just decided to bite the bullet because i've been denied everywhere else i go even with a really good cosigner. i drove over an hour to get to skokie being on time with an appointment set to speak to a sales manager. i should've walked right out the door and left. it was very busy, there were people and screaming kids just sitting everywhere and running everywhere. there was no bathroom in sight! i go to the desk, and i'm greeted with a half smile from one of the sales people and i was told to sit wherever. i said that there are no open seatings available and he rolled his eyes and got up and lead my aunts (one being wheelchair handicapped and the other visually limited.) to seating by the PRINTER. two hours runs by before i can even be talked to by a salesman. we mention in between these hours that it's been a while and no one has bothered to speak to us and just kept getting us water. i was infuriated . i didn't expect to be sitting at this dealership for several hours on end. finally bob, one of the salesman finally got the nerve to talk to us and sent us out on a wild goose chase with our income and credit scores. my aunt that is visually limited has great income and gets SSDI benefits. bob was asking every insulting question that he could ask about her eyesight and went on FURTHER and asked and i QUOTE "are you SURE you can't see like are you SURE you can't get it looked at?" she was deeply offended by this question felt that it was not relevant to anything that needed to be done right then and there. i was at my wits end and just told me that i wasn't gonna be accepted. i was seriously upset because we were told that this was also an income accepting dealership as well as a low credit accepting dealership. for some reason, they would NOT run our incomes together. i asked for our ids back from bob and he said sure. i had to wait a half an hour to get our ids back only to be told that he was trying to find another way. i said that it was ridiculous and that im not interested in finding another way to be signed with this dealership. he brought over another person who basically said the same fucking thing that he had said and tried to explain it better and was a little nicer than bob. i asked for our ids back again and he handed them right away as im sure he could see our frustration and anger with the disrespect we had endured coming here. we will NOT be coming back to this dealership.

Visited Sherman of Skokie after a rough interaction with the sales team of Crystal Lake Jeep and Dodge. Immediately we were greeted by Dariusz who is a salesman with 16 years of experience. We told Dariusz about our experience in Crystal Lake and we were reassured that this would not happen there. Dariusz was extremely helpful and accommodating and very clearly wanted to put us in the vehicle we wanted. We ultimately leased a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a fair price. We couldn't have been more pleased with the process from start to finish. We will be coming back for future vehicles.

If I could give Sherman dodge a minuscule rating I would. I'm so unhappy with this dealership. I brought my 2014 Jeep in because I was having some problems with it. Let me first say I understand that this is a business and they have to make money. I understand they have high paying employees to pay namely their mechanics. But to charge your customers obscene amounts of money is just ridiculous. And furthermore to lie to your customer is beyond the pale. I took my jeep in and was given a $4000 total to have things repaired. I mean simple repairs $300 dollars to replace one Tire pressure monitor $547 dollars to replace a shifter bezel, $640 to replace front brake and rotors. $300 dollars to replace oil filter seal that still leaks!!!!! 1500 dollars to replace motor and a transmission mount now I get it that's probably a huge fix. But guys here's the rub I got those other things done at my personal mechanic and he is really good. I bought the shifter bezel and the TPM MONITOR FROM DODGE I PAID 168 for the shifter bezel and harness and $54 dollars for the TMP. My mechanic charged me $74 dollars!!!! The service agent lied to my face as to what was going on with the shifter bezel he told me that it had to be replaced because they found large amounts of coffee and soda spilled in the console causing the problem. Not true. He also said that I authorized him to checkout a sound coming from the front end. I did not. He thought because I had a third party insurance paying for some of the repairs he could surmise that they might pay for whatever was causing the problem. They wouldn't have because what I found out from my mechanic is I need new struts. Not covered so the dealership would have charged me an additional $199 dollars. Now guys I'm saying all this to say I saved myself over a thousand dollars because I didn't listen to the dealership. Please be careful when taking your vehicle into these places their goal is to get you to spend as much money as possible. It really is a shame I have pictures but our personal information is on there so I can't show these ridiculous prices. Thumbs down to Sherman Dodge

Vey interesting 1.) New Sales guy was Awesome and great people skills and personality. He asked what type of vehicle I was looking for and I said an CX90. And asked me what is the monthly payment I was looking for. 2..) The next sales person that was helping the new sales guy stated the price per month I stated would be impossible. I said ok, 3.) The manager assisting new sales with potential sale introduced himself and very friendly.4.) The 3rd salesman who was helping the new sales guy who was working the numbers was ok, but said vey little. He was more like an verification guy to make sure that the customer was upfront and honest by checking the ADP APP and reviewing the customer paystub. For example he said that the company that I worked for was under a different name. And he stated that he was checking to see when the company changed name on my check stub. (SMILE)I stated to him that I can call the CEO and to verify the information on the company I work for. He said that's ok, that's not necessary while he was scrolling back on my ADP APP reviewing my paycheck check stubs and reviewing the months I worked for the company. (SMILE)5.) I waited for about over 20 or 30 minutes and as I was waiting I started receiving 15 notifications on my phone that they where running my credit because they are trying to find a bank to finance me. (THIS HARD INQUIRY WILL STAY ON CREDIT REPORT FOR 2yrs). (Smile)(RedFlag)6.) The new sales guy came back to me and gave me a sheet of paper that he was given from his finance/sales team that was helping him. The new sales guy stated that we are going out to the lot and I can pick 3 cars/vehicles that I like and write down the number that's on the car window sticker on the paper. I said ok.(RedFlag)7.) The cars/vehicles did not have a price on them. I noticed that the cars had price tags over $22,000 and up on the side window. As I searched for the car they said they had and come to find out they don't have it and it may be at their warehouse after I searched the lot for 30 minutes. (RedFlag)8.) I wrote down the car/vehicle that i liked as an alternative. (Smile) I gave the sheet to the new sales guy and he takes it to his finance/sales team. So another 20 minutes go by and the sales guy that was doing the verification on my ADP APP paystub came back with a sheet of paper in which had only 1 option was to purchase the most expensive car/vehicle in which was the Red Trail Blazer. So I smiled because it was broken down on paper of 2 payment options. I noticed the SUV/Sedan Camry and RAV4 was not on sheet that I chose as well on the sheet that I given to them. (Smile)A.) The 1st monthly payment option with a Co-signer $450 per monthB.) The 2nd monthly payment option without a Co-$885 per month. (Smile)(RedFlag)9.) I asked him since they chose the Red Trailblazer) what is the (OUT THE DOOR PRICE) ? And he couldn't give me a direct answer. He explained to me that it was my only option. So I said ok, I said I will pass on this one and I shook the new sales guy hand and I reach out to shake the sales guy hand that was helping the new sales guy, he didn't shake my hand and the expression and look on his face spoke volumes. (Smile)But it's ok, I'm sure he will get the next sale. (Smile)-Vehicles with no pricing tag on them be careful. -Sales Team Not Willing to Give You Out The Door Price be careful.-Don't let them run you credit report. Get an price first

What can I say! A++++++ 10 stars When you are treated like family and feel comfortable as a consumer you go back to the place of business! That is how I feel after buying my 3rd Jeep from Sherman! My sales rep Sam Garner ( sales ) & Alex ( manager) are both true professionals and were always available and explained the process from start to finish. They did not pressure me at all during the entire car buying experience and I felt 100% comfortable the entire time! Alex and Sam as always were so nice and listened to my needs and we love our new 2023 black Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x4! I would highly recommend buying from this dealership and give them a A+ rating on sales and service! My service experience has also been amazing ! The service manger Chris is fantastic and my service advisor that helps me ( Angel) as well! Thank you Sam and Tammy 3x Jeep owners

If you are a woman, a young person or someone whom English is not your first language you may want to stay away from Sherman Dodge in Skokie. They prey on first time buyers and when l went in to ask the general manager (Alex) why he gave my son in law an 18.5 interest rate loan when he had a credit score of 752 he got defensive, disrespectful and ultimately said it had nothing to do with the dealership and everything to do with the bank. That was only one of the lies told. The sales person told him that making an over $600 payment per month on a 24000 dollar car that he would have the car paid off in 3 years. The real truth is that it is a six year loan and if finished, he will pay over $44,000 for the 24000 dollar car. The attitude and disrespect I got from the general manager was typical of an insecure man suffering from a Napoleon complex. I was disgusted by his behavior.

They advertised approval for all credit scores/bad credit scores. I went in skeptical knowing my credit score was low and I might not be approved. I'm not upset or surprised I wasn't. What I'm annoyed about is they had multiple sales reps sit down with me and ask me the same questions over and over again (You don't have any family you can ask to co-sign? Any friends to co-sign? How about your roommate?) I had to explain to three different people that I did not have any family. Or anyone to co-sign. That is not an option. They wasted more than four hours of my day. Idk if they were hoping I would randomly remember my rich uncle who could help me co-sign or what.. but it was actually stupid.

Probably the best Dodge/Jeep dealership around Chicago area. Service is responsive and the customer waiting room has been updated with waters and massage chairs. This place is well run and is a refreshing change of pace compared to the rest around the city. Thank you peter in service and the team at Sherman

Sherman quoted me for a lease that was 1/2 the price that Ziegler tried to scam me. Side note, if you don't end up with Sherman, DO NOT GO TO ZIEGLER. You'll get verbally abused and scammed. (You can see my Ziegler review for the whole experience...)Sherman knows that they can't BS their customers like Ziegler, and won't play 100% games up front. That being said, it took forever here. Yeah, all dealerships are slow, but it was a game of back and forth here, from sales rep to manager. Completely tiring. Building itself is terrible. Bathroom is quite literally a locker room with sink faucets operated by a foot pump. Glass offices with 2 workers blatantly vaping marijuana cartridges. No salesman has a computer....At the end of the day, you're not being treated like royalty like at Autohaus on Edens, but you're not paying 200% dealer markups at Ziegler, and even Fields.

I bought a maintenance contract when I bought my here and just to get an oil change is an all day event. Every single time! Average 3 hour wait.
