One of the few gas stations with gas pumps open 24 hours a day. Gus, if you're reading this, you're doing good and I appreciate you

I am so disgusted to see a full 10 cent increase in price for using a credit card instead of a debit card. I will never buy gas here again.

This gas station is currently up-and-coming so do not expect much from it because it currently lacks one thing that regular gas stations have which is an ATM. During my initial visit I spoke with the clerk and he mention that they were adding a few things that the previous owner did not have. Very friendly guy which I spoke to prior to grabbing snacks before work, which is why I dropped in in the first place.

I am quite aware that there are other gas stations in the area with lower gas prices than this gas station which prices gas at $3.25 per gallon. Honestly, if this gas station was not in route to my job I probably would not have stopped in because there is not anything specific about it, other than it having a service center attached for auto repairs. One thing that baffles me about many of the gas stations in Chicagoland versus the inner city of Chicago are the gas prices! I consider myself luckily that I work in Chicagoland, so I can take advantage of those lower gas prices in Chicago's surrounding cities like Skokie and Morton Grove because prices in Chicago are horrendous. With that being said I hope this review has informed you in any way. Thomas G

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I see that other people have written positive reviews about the automotive service employee, I am speaking of whoever the attendant behind the counter was. If they are the same person, then I'd be shocked. The man behind the counter was the WORST BUSINESS MAN and RUDEST PERSON I have ever encountered. I WISH I could give this review negative stars. I go to this gas station probably 2-3 times a month to fill up gas. Today when I pulled up to this gas station there were generic plastic grocery bags around every nozzle at every pump. My first thought was, does that mean they are all out of order? But there were no out of order signs posted on the nozzles, the screens, or anywhere around the pumps, and we got a lot of rain today, so maybe they're to protect the nozzles from the rain? There was also another car parked at a different pump so I figured, I'd proceed. I parked my car, got out my credit card and went up to the computer. Did the normal, swipe, then give it my zip code, and it acted as normal, asked me to lift the nozzle and select the fuel grade. As I picked up the nozzle, a guy came out from the store and told me none of the pumps were working and then got into his car. I then put the nozzle down and tried to cancel my transaction since the computer still had my credit card information and was ready to make a sale. I pressed cancel and clear multiple times with no luck, so I decided to just go inside and ask if the gas station attendant behind the counter could cancel my transaction. When I turned to go inside I saw the guy was looking right at me, which I immediately thought-- if he was watching me attempt to pump gas this whole time and they aren't working, why wouldn't he just pop his head out of the door and say, "hey, sorry but the pumps don't work today". I went inside and all I got out was the word "hi" before he started scolding and yelling at me for having tried to pump gas! He said the computers didn't work, and asked me repeatedly why I would try to pump gas if there were plastic bags on them. All he kept doing was emphasizing that the computers didn't work and why would you try to pump gas!? In which case I felt the need to defend myself since I was being reprimanded for being confused. I finally was able to just ask him if he could cancel my transaction, in which case he just repeated "the computers don't work!" (which probably meant that the credit cards weren't being charged, but that the computer still responds and the pumps still work, but he insisted on just asking me why I would even try to pump gas). I said "but my credit card information is just up there for someone to use now" and he said again, "the computers don't work. Why would you pump gas!? There are plastic bags on them!" After more scolding and repetition I realized this wasn't worth my time anymore, and left with an angry "I'm sorry I tried to give you business!" and stormed out hoping I'd figure out a way on my own to cancel my transaction. Which I did thankfully by holding down the cancel button. I have some questions and thoughts for YOU, gas station attendant: -Why didn't you stop me when you saw me get out of my car? It would've taken TWO SECONDS to step outside and say "they aren't working today, sorry" (WHICH BTW HE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR WHICH IS NUMBER 1 IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!) -Why assume people will know what generic plastic bags mean? Is that the universal sign for pumps don't work? There was NO signage, not on the nozzles, not on the computers, not even cones to block the parking spots, or the normal "out of order" bags that gas stations have to go over the nozzles. I'm SURE I'm not the only person who was confused. -Lastly, why YELL AT ME first thing when I walk in the door!? All I wanted to do was ask you to cancel my transaction. I am a CUSTOMER, and even if I was just being an idiot, I d
