5485 Touhy Ave, SkokieI booked an appointment incorrectly online (completely my fault) and forgot to add a cut to my dog who needed a cut before I left for vacation tomorrow. They didn’t have time to do her cut but were SOOO considerate and understanding when I said I needed to cancel. They told me to call the Evanston location (which was able to fit in for a cut) and was so nice the entire time. Mind you, the woman I was canceling with was the person who would be doing her appointment. Thank you Danielle J for being so sweet and understanding about my mistake. Will definitely be back!

8007 Kenton Ave, SkokieCame in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!

4901 Main St, SkokieI've been to Sketchbook twice in the past 10 days and have found the beer to be lovely and the atmosphere appropriately austere industrial. I was grateful NOT to be surrounded by TV screens or loud music.
The service, however, was mixed. I was served by a number of different people and all of them were consistently pleasant except for the bearded fellow with the nose ring. He was often curt and frequently poured beers with excessively large heads on them, despite a request not to have too much head after my first experience. If you have a choice, try to be served by one of the women for better service.
Note to Sketchbook - patrons tip more when the service is pleasant, and I am no exception.
