They are trustworthy, honest, and very professional. Walter was very patient with me and explained in detail what the problem was with my car.They also saved me over $100 over the dealership. The car dealership wanted to keep my car for 24-48 hours, and McKenna had my car fixed in one day and I was able to drive it home when I got off work.I would definitely go back there again for maintenance, repairs, etc.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Just wanted to share a story about my experience with McKenna. My daughter's car died at the Skokie emissions station and needed a jump. She of course reached out to Dad for assistance however I was an hour drive away. Looking at Google Maps, I saw McKenna was just around the corner from the station though it would be closing in a few minutes. I called and asked for assistance. No questions asked, Wojtek said he would see what he could do, walked over, and jumped her car. No charge, just sent her on her way. These are the kind of guys you are dealing with at McKenna. I live very far from Skokie unfortunately because this is certainly the kind of business I would want to support. Thanks again!Service: Battery

Wojtek and his team did an outstanding job on my 2004 Honda Accord EX. My car had a lot issues and they took care of everything providing excellent service in every detail and I can say that my 17 year old car is running super now . They found some problems that I did not even know about and fixed them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for honest and dependable work on their vehicle . I hardly ever leave reviews, but I was impressed by the outstanding service provided by McKenna Automotive. I’ve been to several mechanics over the years and always end up screwed over. That was not the case here, because Wojtek’s team is worth every penny. Every time I’ve driven my car into this shop, I drive away feeling like my car is brand new. Always drives so smoothly out of this shop. Never worry about price gouging when I walk into their shop. Grade A service, management and environment! Also, last time I was there I received free hand sanitizer and a face mask. It’s nice to see small business doing their part in keeping communities around them safe and healthy during this unprecedented time! Highly recommend to everyone!

I've been bringing my cars here since day 1 of having a car way back in 1996! I love this place! I highly recommend them to everyone I know. My car broke down near tomah, wi once and Bob the owner searched for a repair shop I could bring my car to as I was so tempted to have it towed to him but that would've cost so much money! All my cars go to McKenna. No one else! Love these guys! The best mechanics ever and I don't live anywhere near Skokie but I still bring my car there cuz I can't imagine anyone else caring for my cars. Go, u won't be disappointed!

Once again, the most honest repair shop I know. They will not do work that isn't necessary. I came in this morning for brakes after being told by the dealer I needed a full brake job. I only needed the rear done as the front pads had thousands of miles left on them still. He could have sold me a full brake job and I would have been none the wiser. When I pulled in, I saw my daughter in law's car up on the rack getting work done unbeknownst to me. Everyone I have sent here, has had a great experience. quality repair work, done honestly at a fair price
