MC Glass at 3518 Dempster Street in Skokie, IL is the absolute best.The owners, Ben & Debera Beaton are friendly, knowledgeable, and price their work very fairly. They fixed / repaired a double hung garage window by glazing two new double-glass panes.All other glass companies which I previously contacted all wanted to sell me a completely new window and frame.I found MC Glass by searching these keywords: "Best window repair company near Evanston, IL." It surely is.I read their reviews, visited the location, brought the two sashes into the shop. Then, Ben measured what he needed to order and a few weeks later the glass panes came in to the shop, it was installed with 3 hours, and I put the two panes back into place and paid one fifth of what the other companies wanted for a completely new double hung window.I am a life-long customer of MC Glass.Mike C.Service: General window replacement

The company is extremely unprofessional. I made 2 appointments and they never showed up. They never called to cancel or to inform me they were going to be late. Do not waste your time with them.

Had used MC Glass a few years ago to cut a large mirror in half and bevel the edges. They did a great job with the mirror. This time we needed 4 glass double pane windows with almond color muntins/grids replaced. They measured the 4 window glass and told us the manufacturer they deal with usually only has white muntins but they'll check and let us know. 9 days later we haven't heard anything so we call MC Glass they said Ben will call back, 13 days later still no call back so we call again and this time they just tell us manufacturer only has white. It sounded like he either forgot or didn't follow through with checking on our window issue. Would have been great if they would just give us a courtesy call instead of us chasing them for an answer and leaving us hanging for 3 weeks. MC Glass does good work but customer service not so much.Services: Glass installation

I have used MC Glass to repair windows and screens, to make storm window and storm door inserts. Today Chris and his installer came out and installed new storm windows in 8 windows in my apartment building. Their price is very competitive, they use a local vendor to fabricate the storms made to measure, lead time was very reasonable especially given we are between holidays. Windows fit perfectly and they were over and done by lunchtime. I'll use them again in the spring to replace some windows on the other side of the building. I think they use Climate Guard, another Chicago fabricator, to make replacement windows.
