Quality of LL Bean garments has been very high; however, charging over $200 for a winter jacket made from garbage (recycled plastic bottles) is ridiculous.

Went in to try a few different pairs after looking online. I’m glad that I did since I ended up sizing a whole size smaller than normal and would’ve had to return anything ordered online. Justin in the boot department was wonderful! Super helpful, helped me get the right size, settle on the right boot for me, and even helped me change the boot laces into the customized ones I purchased. Thanks, Justin!

The sizes are terrible. They're random-either super small or super fat. When you go to look for things like pants they're not organized and don't have stickers with the sizes so you have to turn the stuff upside down looking for what you need and then the sizes are completely random and disorganized. When you approach the sales reps they encourage you to just go buy it online and then return it instore-or return it with a $6.50 shipping fee. The sizes are awful. An xl looks like you're swimming in the shirt and the regular shirts are basically untucked type shirts, so you have to try on all the tall shirts to find out if those fit. The whole thing is a mess and they really go out of their way with sizes, prices, the way it's organized to make you really waste a lot of time and money. Complete fail.
