This is an excellent well organized business which provides great service and excellent stock. It is very conveniently laid out. Their answering system is a royal pain but other than that, they're excellent. I wish there were more businesses like this in Skokie.

Customer service is almost nonexistent. When asking a staff member for assistance, I get either a huffy attitude or no response. In addition, prices are not only higher, but insanely more expensive than other grocery stores.

Why does management think that if a 3rd party vendor comes in to the store that they can treat them like crap? Don't you know that we are CUSTOMERS, too? In fact, we usually buy a sandwich and a drink on our way out the door. Well Mr. Manager, you do NOT need to worry about THAT anymore. In the past week since you called in your petty, bullcrap complaint, we purchased over $500 in groceries from OTHER local markets. Thank you Mr. Manager for making it soooo easy to choose where NOT to shop for groceries. FYI, your bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Any retail consultant will tell you that you can tell how much a company cares about their customers by looking at the condition of their bathrooms. Yours show just how little you care for your customers...or anyone else who comes on to your property, including your employees. I'm glad business is so good for you that you can tell paying customers to basically f-off. Maybe you should be promoted to Vice President of Marketing for Albertson Corporation. You clearly have customer service acumen that should be shared with the entire company. God bless!

I used the delivery service for the first time today to deliver to a disabled relative on a restricted diet. I carefully selected all the items in the order to conform to his diet and Jewel substituted multiple items that he is not allowed to eat, without asking my permission. When I called customer service, "Juan" told me that Jewel would not do anything about it. I also made clear all over the order that the driver was to ring the bell and take the food up to the apartment. Instead, the driver dumped the food in the lobby and took off, without ringing the bell. "Juan" told me that the driver is "under no obligation" to take the order upstairs. In other words, Jewel will deliver whatever it pleases, regardless of what it offers online. Its "service" is dump and run and I will not be using it in the future. Once was more than enough!

The cashier Vinod should not be a cashier who does know what he is doing he should be out returning carts. Before he rang me up I put in my phone number then he rings up my order then tells me to put my phone number in I tell him already did. When I get my receipt nothing was taken off. I went to the service desk and the man said if I have a picture of it on my I-phone I told him I don't have an I-phone he said that he can't help me. I lost 2 rewards.

I've been telling myself to leave this pharmacy for years. The oldest male pharmacist judged me for my prescription openly some years ago. Everyone else is incredibly rude. The younger, brown haired pharmacist just raised her voice at me because I asked her to repeat herself. She wears her name tag on backwards, I wonder why!

This Jewel is terrible! Avoid it at all costs. Ricki in the bakery is the rudest person, and the store manager Bill Kugler is a joke!

What ruins the store is that there are no numbers available at the deli counter. When there are a number of people waiting, there is always chaos and confusion as to who is next and sometimes arguments ensue. And it makes it hard on the people working behind the counter as they try to maintain some kind of order. Every other Jewel store within 10 miles of this store has a number system at their deli counter and it keeps everything orderly and moving fast. So why can't this Skokie store do the same? Other than this problem, I do like the store. But if you plan on buying some items at the deli, you may want to use the Evanston, Wilmette or Glenview store instead.

Everything we needed...everything we didn't...right under one roof. We don't have nice grocery stores where I live so I get a little excited when I find one to visit while on a trip. Wonderful staff, well laid out store housing all the necessities and all of the treats !!! Thank you to each of you who helped us find what we were looking for!

I have been an Osco Pharmacy customer for many years. Recently, their service has taken a turn for the worse. The drive-thru is rarely open. They don't answer their phone. Inside, there are usually customers waiting in line and only one person behind the counter. It appears they are grossly understaffed. The staff I have had contact with are courteous and professional. I think it's time to find a new pharmacy.
