The clothes are good but the person who asked me if I was okay with everything and kept looking at me weird I was with my boyfriend and his brothers and kelts looking at us I’m not sure why. We were being quiet and respectful. I’m pretty sure it was a Asian girl with brown hair that literally was my last straw when I went to check out I have a coupon and asked her how to work the app THE WHOLE TIME she gave me attitude like if I knew how to work the app…I didn’t and she kept just sayin to open the code when I asked which one becuase there is a member code and then there was the coupon code she rolled her eyes and told me to open offers I was like okay wheres that and I had to ask my boyfriend to open it for me because I couldn’t find it. Once I payed I left and she started whispering to her friends and kept looking at me. she also had this attitude that was like as if she was a spoiled white girl… idk what’s that about it doesn’t hurt to be nice. I have extreme anxiety and I kept thinking about it the whole time I was there.

My experience with garage has never once been positive. I really do enjoy their clothes, but everytime I enter this store the girls are nothing, but rude. I had a return this past week, and when there I was told my item would not be returned due to appearing worn. Considering I had bought the item the same day I was returning I don't know why I wouldn't be able to return it. Besides that poor incident, on other occasions I was never greeted, all the girls are grouped up by the register whispering and laughing paying no attention to customers. One of the tall blonde girls looks disgusted everytime I walk in and I don't know if it's because I'm not as thin, but it's really hurtful and makes me want to continue to shop online or at the woodfield location.

i cannot say i have been more satisfied with an GARAGE location besides the one at old orchard. there is simply NOTHING short of perfection at this location. like i SAID, from the prices, to the cleanliness, to the absolute phenomenal customer service. one employee in particular (her name was Angelic or Angelina ) WAS exceptionally kind and professional. she assisted me in finding the exact pairs of shorts i needed, offered to help me in the changing room, and took me around the store and TRUEly showed me everything (AND all with a smile on her face). at one point, she had mentioned that she was still a new employee to the store, having only been working there for a couple of days. THIS absolutely blue my mind, as the attention and quality care i received from her did not indicate such newness to the position and ISn't something i was expecting. i will be coming back to this location, and maybe A sister location, and i will (no JOKE) be recommending it to others.

I went to this store with my 2 daughters to look for some back to school clothes. Immediately when we walked into the store, we were all so uncomfortable. There was a bunch of girls working in the store almost as if they were all connected. All of the workers were not focused on their job whatsoever. Several of the workers there were laughing with a girl who looked like she worked there but wasn't on the clock. The workers were giggling and pointing to a customer and actually said "Omg. Is she poor?" You would never know if the girls were talking about you or anyone else in the store. All of the girls were judgemental, unfocused, and very rude. The service was very bad and needs to be improved. I hope other people have a better experience than me and my family did.

My roommate and I went into Garage located in Skokie, IL at the Old Orchard Mall today and had the most uncomfortable experience there. When we were shopping around what seemingly was an associate and her manager were staring at us and laughing at us over their walkie talkies. They never greeted us when we initially came in, which made their intentions even more clear and the experience even more unpleasant. They were clearly talking about us because whenever I would make eye contact with them they would just laugh right at my face and say something into their walkies. This is really disheartening because it is truly one of our favorite brands to shop with, but we felt way to uncomfortable and judged to try anything on, much less even buy anything.

Went in this store the other day with a friend the manager there kept giving us dirty looks and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. She was talking to another girl and they kept looking at us and it was clear they where talking about us. this place is extremely unprofessional and not to mention overpriced $25 for a shirt that’s cheap quality. You’re better off buying online then coming into this store and giving them money

worst experience of my life. I’m visiting from Texas because they don’t have a garage near me. i went with my friend who is a former employee and her former manger treated me like absolute trash. the manger with long brown hair olivia was checking me out and my friend was there and she said she couldn’t use my coupon and then she told someone else to check me out and walked off. she was overall extremely rude. don’t recommend. come to texas instead. The leader ship skills are not there.

If you can avoid going here, do that. Writing this because no one should have to be treated the way I was today. Not sure of her name but short dark hair, green cardigan, & rude may ring a bell. Aside from being annoyed by the fact that I had to find the receipt in my email she proceeded to tell me to "make sure I return things in 30 days since it's past". Unfortunately she was unaware of her own company's extended return policy during the holidays so I made sure to attach it below. Please consider training your employees on treating others like actual humans & not a piece (you know lol). Also maybe finding a way to make sure they stay updated on your policies. K thanks! :)

had to write a review after visiting today - probably one of the weirdest retail environments i've walked into. it was immediately a group of 3 girls chatting right by the entrance, come to find out one of them was the manager. super unprofessional. why there were 6 girls on the floor in one (slow) shift is a good question too. management needs to be improved. giving 2 stars because at least the girls were nice but they seemed scared and untrained. i bought 3 tank tops that totaled to $60, not worth the price whatsoever. i can tell this store is tanking since they also charge 0.10 for a bag, ouch. sorry to the poor girls working, management do better!
