I have been at G&G quite a few times...what can I say is more important...I had easy car problems but some were complicated...electrical problems...these guys know how to fix it...it's official...I highly recommend this shop.

We have taken our 2010 Honda Fit here for years. Friendly and very very honest. Once our car would not start, seemed like a starter or alternator to me (what do I know?) Well there was not a problem other than possible water in gas or car sitting too long. Because we were out of town, the car was at G&G for a week. When we picked it up, he refused to charge us for diagnostics. Wow.

They've been my trusted mechanic for the past few years. They do a great job but the best part is they'll give your car a once - over to let you know of the general condition. Super helpful to know what kind of repairs are on the horizon so i can plan accordingly.

Went in to have issue check with our car. They did a great job telling us the issues with the car. Really appreciate the honesty. They went above and beyond to help us understand the problem. Really appreciate having an honest fear service department in the area.

The reason I gave two stars is because of the people who work there. They are extremely respectful and friendly. Sorry, but their work is not the same, from the oil change to the cylinder head gasket, they were okay for a few months, after which each one failed again.I decided not to go there anymore, I left a lot of money without solving the problems.1. oil change - they put 5w-30 oil instead of 10w-30 full synthetic2. the front headlight, newly changed, comes out3. cylinder head gasket, the oil leaks, after 4 months it is leaking again.4. Front brakes, They changed them twice in a month, then I had to go to another mechanic because they were making a terrible noise

I had a great experience with this repair shop. They took the time to get to the root of an electrical problem with our vehicle. I truly appreciated the hard work and time they put into actually finding the problem and not just guessing, like other shops I visited. I've been getting car repairs in Chicago for over 25 years and I can confidently say G&G is the only auto repair shop that I 100% trust with my car.Phet (the owner) is a man of integrity, which I'm sad to say is actually quite rare in this industry.I've been bringing my older cars here for the past 5 years.The only issue I have is on occasion, they're backed up with work, so I have to wait a few days or even up to a week to get my car looked at. For the most part, Phet has found a way to get me on the road as fast as possible. Highly recommend!Services: Vehicle Inspection

G & G is the best! I've come in for everything from damaged tires to oil changes to larger repairs. They're always incredibly thoughtful, honest, responsive and fast. They do a free overall inspections with oil changes and their pricing is always very fair for any work I've ever needed. I'd recommend them to anyone. Thanks Angel for getting my tire fixed this weekend so fast!
