I called the Skokie facility to schedule an appointment just now (Saturday 12:50pm), the asked me to wait.. I waited for 10 min and hanged up.I called back.. same guy asked me to wait.. I told him I just called and waited for 10 min… the guy in a very disrespectful way say.. well if you keep calling we will keep telling you to wait…. How is someone like this answering the phone of any serious company!! I won’t come back again ever!

Bc I am a woman there was an attempt to sell me things I did not need. I came in to change out my two back tires. The front two were replaced approximately a year ago. I made a 4pm appointment. My car was not taken back until 6:30. Then once in the lift my hood was opened (weird when my back tires needed the attention). I was then told recommends… an oil change (false was done 2 months ago). A diagnostic that I did not approve was done (he claimed was doing me a favor by waiving said unapproved diagnostic). Two sensors for my tires “needing replacement” (false all sensors working just fine). If I listened this would have added $500 to my service they failed to notice that I am due for a service however I would never trust them for it. When I finally got to leave and I looked to turn on my heat as it’s below zero out; my center console has no electricity to it due to them messing around under my hood… will never go back to that location!!!!! Be warned do your research, know your needs, and stand up for yourself bc they are thieves

Ivan did amazing job finding a speciality tire to replace my flat tire. He communicated clearly all of the obstacles as well as the solutions.

So unprofessional, when I called someone answered and said they had a customer in their face already and didn’t wanna be rude as if I’m not also a customer, they put me on hold but then hung up ? and I called back and no one answered. I understand if it’s busy but i didn’t deserve that.

Elijah and Miguel both provided EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I showed up about 30min before closing with an emergency issue with windshield wipers that were not working during a snow storm. I was taken care of very quickly and greatly appreciated the FABULOUS SERVICE! This is a great Firestone location under GREAT MANAGEMENT with Ivan!! I highly recommend using Firestone for your next car repair or maintenance need!!

Came in to drop my car off for an oil change. Was told it would take 2-3 hours. It was 11:49am when I dropped it off and I didn’t mind because I live right by there and would just wait at home until they called me. 3 hours roll by, and I call them and Ivan tells me that the car is still being worked on. So I wait some more, and then I call them at 5pm. Ivan tells me it should be another 30-40 mins. At this point I tell him I’ve been waiting for a while now, and that they didn’t say it would take that long when I dropped it off. Regardless, I say okay. About 30 mins later I get a call from Ivan letting me know that my oil cap “crumbled” in their hands and that they had to drive to somewhere else to get a new one and they didn’t know how long it would take. I was fuming at this point I decide to go there and wait since I felt like they were playing around at this point. I left their facility at 7:39pm. An oil change took them 8 hours to complete. The worst part is, a couple of days later I noticed all of my air caps were missing. When they had checked my tire pressure, they didn’t bother to put my air caps back on. Additionally, when they reset my oil change sensor they did it by unplugging my battery. My car wouldn’t start and when I checked, the wiring was loose to the battery. Never had that issue before. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT NOBODY TAKE THEIR CARS TO GET SERVICED AT FIRESTONE SKOKIE. They are absolutely TERRIBLE!!

There is a reason these people have such a low rating. THEY ARE CROOKS. PERIOD. Do bot bring your car here. Not even for an oil change. They will tell you you need things replaced that you don't just to get more money out of you. Then send you off with your car still broken. Trust and believe me.

Great place to bring your car. I bring all three of my vehicles here. prices are quite reasonable and on multiple occasions these guys have come through and been very honest about whether some repair is worth it for me or not. When my Honda needed a starter replaced, they found one, replaced it, but when it didn't completely fix the problem, they went ahead and replaced it with a more expensive one and didn't up-charge me. An on a couple of other visits I have had similar experiences. They are sometimes a little low on the number of mechanics working at any given time, so it may take a little longer, but I would recommend these guys to others.

5 Stars from me! I was across the street and my car wouldn't start. I walked across the street for help and an amazing man named Ivan came out and took a look at it and fixed the problem fast! Super friendly and a great guy! Highly, highly recommend.
