I have had an excellent experience working with Maria Pifke to design my guest bedroom.She had great ideas and pick out everything I needed- draperies , ottoman ,fabrics ,rug, wall arts-and I love everything what she did.Maria is a great designer and she also is very nice, friendly , patient.I got a lot of compliments from my friends , how nice the bedroom looks like.It was a real pleasure working with Maria!

We got our home decorated by Maria P at Ethan Allen. Maria has a keen ability to listen to her clients patiently and comes to the table with true partnership. She understands that placing things into a home is not the goal but bringing people together, families under one roof is. She has a fantastic sense of design. She is sophisticated in her style and is fantastic to work with. The chairs that I purchased are as high-quality as furniture that I used to purchase in the Merchandise Mart. The lead time was SO quick I hesitate to mention it (much less than what I was quoted) so fast that the shipping and delivery took longer. Automatically came with arm caps, which I did not imagine were even done anymore. Every person that I interacted with was professional, uber-competent, knowledgeable in their function. I will recommend Ethan Allen to everyone in the market for classic styles of furniture.

With the help of Gail W we just got our new sectional and chair and ottoman. She was wonderful to work with. I received updates and everything came in as expected. The delivery process including the delivery team were super. Thanks for a great experience and we love our new furniture!

Our designer with Ethan Allen is Gail Writt. We couldn’t be more pleased with her talent and vision. We recently completed a major renovation and Gail was a part of the planning process, from before the work started until well after the construction was finished. She listened to us about our wants and needs and is very honest with her communication. This room is not easy in terms of space for furniture and with Gail’s guidance and expertise, it’s simply perfect. We won’t hesitate to contact Gail with any future design needs.

My experience working with Mia was fantastic. Not only was she very informative, professionasl, she also was very interested in understanding my needs & delivered it very effectively. She was a pleasure & comfortable to work with for this major purchase of furniture. If there was an award in the Interior Design field I would honor her with an Oscar! I have a beautiful sofa from Ethan Allen that had started to sag after years of use. I called Ethan Allen to see if repair was possible. Gail referred me to a repair person who did a fabulous job fixing the problem. She could have told me the sofa was beyond repair and sold me a new one. I really appreciate the honesty and great customer service!

We are very pleased with our Ethan Allen experience. Mia was very helpful. We described the vibe we wanted, and told her which pieces of furniture we wanted to replace, and which we didn’t. She put together a wonderful array of choices, came to our home, and assisted in every way. We are delighted with the finished product!

I met Gail Writt when I wandered in to the Skokie store to see, in person, some bedroom furniture selections I’d made with a designer online for our new home. I didn’t really like the finishes and Gail helped me pick pieces and finishes that better. She also helped me pick seating for our kitchen keeping room. Gail’s design assistance went beyond what she was able to sell me. She helped with paint colors, light fixtures and bedding. Even though we’ve moved 750 miles away, I am still reaching out as we make our new house our home.
