CVS Pharmacy in Skokie is located inside Target off of Dempster, right next to the Skokie Swift. The pharmacy team is wonderful, friendly, helpful, and effective. Staff, especially the pharmacy techs, are pleasant, responsive, and communicative. Getting a hold of them is slightly easier than at other locations, and handling prescriptions, including transfers and updates, is pretty good. The team offers advice, helps look for savings, and will check with other pharmacies to find prescriptions that are out of stock. Services like getting shots are fast, easy, and painless. They run it like an old family corner drugstore, with staff able to accommodate customers helpfully. However, the team can seem overworked. The store is open seven days a week, but the pharmacy has a daily lunch break from 1:30 to 2 PM. Parking is in the rear of the building, which is kind of a pain as the lot is somewhat small, requiring caution for pedestrians and speeding cars.
