Their primary aim is selling donated books online for profit. They get free books from the public that they sell on many websites. Most of the books are thrown straight into recycling and not donated. The most valuable books are sold for profit (it is a for-profit company). Management was horrible. They had different expectations for productivity based on whether they liked you or wanted you to stay there. Some get a pass on being less “productive” than others. It was an unwelcoming and awkward/uncomfortable environment. The pay is low. There were zero benefits besides being able to take home books they were going to throw away anyway. Most of the job was throwing books into gigantic recycling bins and weeding out any books that were worth selling online for profit. They do donate the children’s books and textbooks, at least while i worked there.

Good mission but treats their employees very poorly. Social missions should start with your own business and not just to make profit.

I have both bought books and donated here. Love that they have the 24 hour drop-off.

Great place to drop off used books, they will treat them (the books) with respect and will find good homes for the books...

Easy way to. Recycle past loved reading material. Simple set-up where you can pull up and unload

This is a for-profit company. They get tons of books donated to them with the idea that they're being donated to free libraries or places that can use them. A small portion of the books they get - for free - actually are donated. The vast majority are thrown into recycling. The main goal, it seems, is to sell donated books online for profit. As someone who likes to donate my books, I am going to look elsewhere.

Ordered a set of books through Biblio that was filled by this group. Received half the set of the books I ordered and in a classic bait and switch, the rest of the box was full of other books to make it feel like a full set.Reached out via email and ZERO response! If you order anything with this group online BE CAREFUL!Zero stars for customer service, zero stars for integrity!

Soleil was so helpful in assisting me with a book that got lost in the mail. I believe it was the mail carrier’s fault, but she knew I needed the book for school and sent me their only other copy free of charge or shipping costs! Very friendly staff and speedy delivery! I’ve already placed a second order for another book I need for school. I highly recommend buying your books from this company.

Ok, in my music circle, if you really like a band, you might say, "BMFS" or "WSMFP". This is B4MFC. We'll see if this review gets to stay.

I had a trunk full of books - easily 300+ books. Two employees filled up crates and carried them inside. I barely helped fill the crates. Done in 15 minutes. They take books and DVDs. There are free books and free DVDs on shelves/carts outside. I believe and support their efforts in distributing the books. I strongly recommend donating your books here.

While preparing for a move, I was looking for a place to donate some of the books we don't need anymore. Where other organizations would take weeks to get back to me, if ever, Books4cause was able to schedule a pickup the next week. They were very responsive and thoughtful with my questions and concerns. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to donate your books!

Receipt was placed in the beginning of a chapter that helps with what we are going through right now. Accidental or not, I thought that was really cool.

I liked their cause and the location is pretty convenient. I dropped off some books today and noticed that the door was propped and nobody was inside. Some people stopped by and dropped off their donations. One of them said that the few times they have been there, they have only seen someone work there once or twice.
