After shopping at Bloomie’s we visited the cafe, surprisingly the food was excellent, freshly prepared, coffee was amazing. On the top of everything the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Recently shopping for a jewelry as a Christmas present,with a salesperson Gen T.She was very helpful to us , quickly answering our questions and concerns.We had a very pleasant experience, highly recommended as a jewelry specialist.

The customer service in the shoe dept is awful. Went in yesterday afternoon. Store was pretty empty considering holidays. One person trying on shoes. Woman finally comes out so I ask for my shoes. She tells me to wait because she has a customer. OK. Comes back takes my size and shoes. Another woman comes out w one pair. I ask about the 2nd pair and she says someone will bring them out. Hands me box & walks away. 2nd lady comes & does same w 2nd pair. Both boxes dropped and sales persons walk away. Shoes had all kinds of packaging I was left to undo. No words exchanged just dropped boxes. Walking around no sales person in sight. One finally walks past. Never once asked if size was OK or if I needed anything else. What a miss on customer service. Especially for Bloomies. Dissapointed to say the least.

I recently purchased a gown for a wedding and had a great experience with both Alina Bim, the sales associate, and Angela Sokolova, the Alterations Specialist who shortened the gown. They were very attentive to my needs and gave me their full attention as well as advice on shoes and jewelry that would be appropriate. They never rushed me or tried to over sell me. The women treated me with courtesy and genuine kindness. I highly recommend the store and the staff. Thank you, Ladies!

Mirsada at fragrance dept. has a lot to learn about customer service. Service,service, service!!!She was very reluctant to give me samples of a very expensive fragrance that my wife is interested in. Very condescending borderline rude. Absolutely no way I’m giving these people my money. Thank God for Nordstrom!!Oh! btw Mirsada you can return an open fragrance if you try it and don’t like it!!!!

Worst customer service experience I've ever had, people that work here treat you like garbage. I like to be hopeful that retail stores will survive this digital world ... but this store reminded me I'm wrong. We're definitely headed for a digital only shopping experience due to the lack of human connection. I took down the names of two people that were rude to me because I take it seriously and want corporate to know but still felt it's necessary to write a review.Only come in if you know what you want.

Purchased a $600.00 piece of luggageRepair shop sent states that had I bought the bag from their store they would repair at no cost.Why should I b liable to pay for a defective repair.

If I could leave zero stars I would. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Kiana K was very rude and disrespectful. She seemed more focused on leaving her shift and her phone than the job itself. As I was rushed to try the first things she seen, I overheard her making fun of my weight to her coworker. I shouldn’t have spent my hard earned money here but needed the dress for a last minute occasion. If you care about your hard earned money, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.

Every since the Old Orchard location changed format from full-scale department store to the "Bloomies" concept, it's gone downhill. It has virtually no selection in almost every department and rarely has more than one or two sizes of anything.Don't waste your time here. Either order online, ship at the real Bloomingdale's ok Michigan Ave, or shop at a competitor.

Ordered a bag online for pick up. They delivered it to my car without the dust bag and removable pouch. They first lied and said the bag didn't come with a removable pouch. Had to pull up the handbag on their website to show them the product details. Then they proceeded to tell me a few of the bags were missing pouches and dust bags. So the bags are considered ineffective.. and shouldn't be on the sales floor. I would expect this kind of service/experience from Zara.

Angela is truly the best. First of all, she is very professional. With 45 years of experience in alterations, she immediately understood what we wanted. She shortened five different types of pants and paid close attention to matching the thread color with the pants' color. Among them, I wanted to leave the raw hem on one pair of pants, and she did it so beautifully while shortening the length. I plan to entrust all alterations to Angela in the future. She is extremely fast and precise with her work, and her personality is undeniably kind. I highly recommend her for all clothing alterations here.
