Omar and Kima are outstanding managers. They are congenial, offer personalized care and are very hardworking. They were so patient and kind as we all struggled through the BofA bureaucracy in order to obtain a medallion stamp for my deceased mother's IRA fund transfer. I would highly recommend the branch in Skokie.

In general, Bank of America has horrible customer service as well as business practices. They don't have any information, Iva had to call customer service multiple times to get basic answers and then had to go to the bank in person and unlock my account. The bankers don't dk anything besides in lock accounts. The taller is rude, has zero patience or understanding. I was turned away twice to withdraw my own money. Don't get a Bank of America account. Period.

Went in on Saturday after I had fraud on my account and my debit card had to be cancelled. They ordered a new card by phone, which is being sent in 4-6 business days, but I was trying to get a temporary card for use in the meantime. The woman at the front desk was very rude after asking me if I had an appointment. This just happened and when the bank contacted me they did not advise that I would need an appointment to go in for a temporary card. She said they were booked up for the day with appointments, but she didn't even try to schedule one for me or offer any other options. I would have even waited if there was a chance I could be seen, but no...she seemed to want to make me feel guilty for not having an appointment. I left and went to another branch...where I got a card in a reasonable timeframe...and nicer service. I've been with BOA for more than 20 years so I was very disappointed by this.

I went to the bank to deposit a check. It was the first time I have been able to walk into the bank and conduct a transaction since it closed due to Covid. I was immediately greeted by the Relationaship Manager Barba Baslio. He was extremely fruendly and was very helpful in assisting me with my transaction. He answered any question I had regarding the deposit. Thanx a lot!

So. After repeatedly being denied service and treated lower then garbage at the Lincoln store in downtown Skokie by Purvy, Jolynne and their minions, we needed to conduct our business at a different branch. So we drove across town to this branch. Both the teller and the manager confirmed that there was no policy that was alleged by Purvy, Jolynne and their merry band of "I can't be bothered with servicing customers." And our business was happily transacted by Cory, the Relationship manager and one of the tellers.. We were told that we were not the first customers to come to this branch after being treated horribly by the Lincoln/Oakton branch. And it happens so regularly that you are asked to remember to fill out the automated survey based on the branch where you actually transacted your business, as many erroneous reviews have confused the Lincoln/Oakton store and unwittingly sand bagged the new location. These yelp reviews are given no attention by Bank of America by the way. They could not care less. However, when you do get great or lousy service, CALL customer service and ask to be called back by the Area Manager's BOSS of the location where you are at. Otherwise a complaint will likely be concealed and the big boss will never know about it...assuming they even care. Kudos again to the staff at this store for trying to allay a year long history of neglect from Jerome, Purvy and Jolynne at the Lincoln Oakton store in downtown Skokie.
