I prefer this location due to the customer service. Ray is very knowledgeable. Even if Ace does not have it, he is able to check if I can order it now and pick it up in store.

I had to give 1 Star so I could write the review, they deserve zero star. This place isn't good anymore as was few years back. They have staff who don't know what to suggest if we ask. And if we buy something as per third suggestion, and if it doesn't work, they have very rude attitudes towards returning of the products they sold wrongfully.

Remodeling why people are shopping. Horrible dusty. Nothing was in the store worth buying never seen a ace hardware had nothing to offer. Could not get help. They were too busy cleaning.

I'm very sad to give only one star. This store in the past was always 5+. The staff us great and helpful, the problem is inventory. I could always find what I needed, but now there are to many empty hooks- shelves and bins. This is sad because people will stop coming and this is one of the oldest Ace stores. It always was a great place and can be again.

the store is well stocked and has ample parking. My complaint is I saw a Scott's product advertised on the Ace Hardware site on sale was 79.99 on sale 59.99 online or in store. The clerk told me it was 79.99 the sale price only applied to online. Ok NOT WHAT THE AD SAYS. I went to Ace in Oriole Park they sold it a sale price as advertised. Guess where a shop now.

This place is great! If you need something fixed like your screen. It’s great if you need something fix it mechanical they fix stuff it’s absolutely great. I love this place.

I am so happy to have a hardware store closeby with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a good various selection of items for many different use and needs.

I bought more than 20 sets of Craftsman tool sets. One of ratchet was effected. I brought back this Ace hardware in Skokie to exchange. The first time they said that had to order these, come back in a couple weeks. 3 weeks later I came back. They said the order was not in yet. Come back in 2 weeks. One month later I came back the order was still not in yet. I had to throw that away.

It's very much like a small town hardware store that just gives you a Mayberry feel.
