Requested style: I wanted to get my haircut in layers long layers and for $54 and 2 hours later my hair was right to my shoulders my chair was turned around I couldn't see her cutting but it took her over an hour to cut my hair and I thought my God it's going to look awesome since she's taking so long on my hair but for the $54 what they charged it looked like I just walked in the place to get a haircut she hardly cut like a half an inch off of my hair I could have went to a place that charges $15 and they would have done the same thing in 15 minutes not taking over an hour I thought the place really sucked I will never go back and big deal so you tell the lady that's sitting at the counter that takes your money you think she cares no she's sitting there talking on her cell phone to her friends. I don't see who would ever go there and pay that much money for a haircut some of your reviews I should have read before I went to the place

I had my son’s wedding on 5/11/24 I went to Plainfield to have my makeup done. I left and was not happy with how it turned out. It looked so heavy the color on my cheeks and forehead looked orange. My eyeshadow was uneven on both eyes. This was a special day and I was so upset how my makeup turned out. The way the makeup was done seemed to make lines and wrinkles stand out more. I called and spoke to manager today explained my situation basically was told I should’ve told the make up artist that day and they could correct it. I told her I had another appointment right after to have my hair done. My thought if you go to a makeup artist they know colors that look best with skin and eyes and hair. I sent a picture of how it looked and asked her is this how wedding makeup should look from a makeup artist she kept telling me I should have complained then. I didn’t have time for her to correct mistakes that should not have happened in the first place. As I stated I had hair apt then had to head to church for their wedding. Waste of $120.00 dollars and pictures I can’t retake.

Avoid this salon.
$500 WASTED
I went in for a consultation (I recommend those)
We agreed on a process, colors and estimated price.
On the day of my appointment, before starting we discussed everything again.
I thought we were in agreement.
I wanted 2 different highlights.
That isn't terribly difficult.
I had to sign paperwork before she started.
I should have left at that point.
The color doesn't look like it has dimensions, or different than the salons I paid less than half.
The stylists love to state their Level, so they can charge more.
Even though their talent isn't evident.
When I went to pay the bill, the price was almost $200 more than the amount we discussed.
There are charges for random things.
(How many bowls they use, how many times they wash your hair etc)
My husband looked confused when I walked out of the salon. He said, "I honestly do not see any difference."
I posted pictures in a group of 2000 women who had either seen me in person, or pictures of me at multiple events. The resounded opinion was It Doesn't Look Different.
Over $500 WASTED

Very very upsetting what happened. I had an appointment yesterday at 5:00pm To get heavy highlights. I asked for a lighter money piece. And some lighter ends as well. I did not even get that… I got home and as I was touching my hair I felt clumsiness and I see 2 strands with BLEACH still on them. Now, I have two bright SKUNK looking pieces. it’s very very upsetting and embarrassing I spent almost $300. I had no change to my hair it doesn’t even look bright or lighter at all. Some parts of my hair are even orange... I couldn’t even say anything because she got done with my hair around 8 which was closing time and everybody had left already. I need to get this fixed because I have an event. And this just looks awful….plus it wasn’t even who I was suppose to have my appointment with.

First time coming here and I will be coming back! Jocie did a good job on my color correction and dimensional balayage and hair cut. Prices were fair and she took her time to make sure I loved my hair. She is thorough and knowledgable and made sure I was comfortable and provided me with snacks and drinks! I really like how clean the place is too.

If you're booking with anyone, book with ALESHA!! By far the best experience I've had in a salon. I was her last client of the day but she did not rush at all, she took so much care in doing my hair. I was going for a big change and she was patient with me to make sure that I was comfortable and happy with the results.It was so reassuring and refreshing! Will definitely come again, she's a stylist for life!

Shorewood Bliss by far the worse experience I’ve ever encountered. Paid over $400, wasted over 8 hours in 2 days to get dry, brittle hair because a level 5 stylist couldn’t achieve my goals and the level 1 stylist had to correct. And because Bliss failed to properly communicate with me pricing, I’m out all this money for awful, dry hair. I hated every moment of this salon experience and would NEVER recommend anyone try them out. Zero hydrating products given to me after all my hair has been through but this company can give free product and all sorts of gifts for their upcoming event at new Plainfield location. What a complete nightmare. 3 stars only for the Plainfield manager trying to correct my nightmare and the level 1 stylist who invested over 5 hours to fix the Shorewood “master level 5” stylist who should be fired.Services: Haircut

I had an appointment with Jocie for a haircut. She did a fantastic job, asking what I wanted before shampooing. She suggested some changes and asked questions along the way. She was also very friendly and was so easy to talk to!
