It's basically a gas station but crazy expensive. $3 for water that I can buy at Dollar general for just over $1 seems extraordinarily high. I'm pretty sure you don't pay taxes on your purchase, but what does it matter with the base price being so high in the first place? It also seems to have a ridiculous amount of alcohol for a military installation. I could see these retirees coming in and buying literally cases of wine, so it probably looks like the military is a bunch of drunks

Was overcharged $2.00 when purchasing a 12-pack of Warsteiner beer. The price tag on the cooler clearly stated $13.49 for 12 bottles of beer, but after I got back home I realized I was charged $15.49! Disappointed, considering I had to wait nearly 5 minutes at the checkout. Only one cashier and having at least 8 people in line waiting!!!

I have purchased at The base exchange BX many years. I'm a retired Chief Warrant Officer logging 32 yrs. with the U.S.Navy & NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE. Barksdale AFB and the base exchange services ( DECA Commissary included,are the best I've seen. Recommend highly.

I bought some beer here to take on vacation. When I got there and opened the pack, one was broken and the others were severely dented. When I tried to return the beer for an exchange the manager told me I needed to bring the trash back from my vacation for him to do a refund/exchange. I will not buy beer from this Express again. Poor policy.

There is a good selection of just about anything you want. Beer, wine, booze. Hot roller food like taquitos. Nachos with meat and cheese sauce. Frozen drinks, hot or iced coffee. Every kind of creamer you would want to add. Candy bars, chips, cookies, snack cakes. Healthier snacks. Soda, energy drinks, water exc. Hunts Brothers pizza is available and takes about 10 mins to get a freshly made large pizza for around ten bucks. If you're a junk food junky like I am.. this place is glorious and don't forget, tax free!!
