I visited Zales last week with my sister, excited to browse their selection of necklaces. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Despite there being four workers present, none of them acknowledged us or offered assistance as we waited and looked around. We felt ignored and unwelcome. It wasn’t until one kind lady finally came over to help that we received any attention. I can’t help but wonder if it was because we didn’t look like their usual clientele. After making a purchase, not a single employee thanked us for shopping there or seemed to care about our business. This experience was not up to the standard I expect from Zales. I hope they improve their customer service in the future.
Update: The owner told me to reach out to talk about this and they did not reply when I reached out to the number they provided.

I have been in many times and Eddie is always so kind and helpful with any questions or concerns about my jewelry. Great customer service and he’s always happy to help.

I stopped in this location to do an inspection on my jewelry and I was not satisfied with the customer service. They were telling me I needed to make an appointment but usually it is just a walk in for inspections. Also it came up invalid in their system so they told me that if any diamonds were missing that I would have had to pay out of pocket. That is why I purchased the warranty. I bought a pair of blue topaz earrings that had the warranty on it and to keep the warranty you need to do inspections every 6 months. But they told me that the topaz earrings didn’t need to be inspected. I only went to this location because it’s the closest to my home. But I purchased the jewelry at the Gurnee location and the Gurnee location is so much better than this location.

After 35 years of marriage, my husband and I were looking to upgrade my wedding ring. Nayana, at the Woodfield Mall location in Illinois was amazing! She greeted us right away, listened to our vision and respected our budget. Nayana was patient, kind, thoroughly explained each piece of jewelry as I tried them on. So blessed to have chosen to shop at Zales yesterday! ??

Had a great experience at this store. We went to pick out wedding bands for our wedding. Nayana helped us and showed us different options and made the whole experience easy. She told us about the different offers.

The whole team at the Woodfield Zales is awesome always polite helpful, Destiny, Jane and the rest of their team always help me when ever I come in wether it'd repair service or I'm buying a special gift for my wife their there for me 100%!!! Love them!!!???

I really appreciate the sales associate Joy for her taking her time to explain and answer all my questions when it came to the item I purchased. She even broke down the diamond differences and informed me about keeping up with my diamond inspections.

Excellent service and they were so nice at the woodfield mall location. Helped us immediately with our watches where at the Aurora location, they were extremely rude. Told us that we wouldn’t get a discount without buying the warranty. Go to the woodfield store for better service.

The staff here is lost and very lazy! Not only that but they can careless about you or their own jobs clearly, as both times I have been there this past month all I see is employees hanging out with each other. Watching movies, talking with friends about things not work related over the phone. Just very unprofessional all around. To top if off they over price their cheap jewelry, and lie to you about getting you a discount just to try and lure you in more and more as they notice they are not getting the sale. Then they grab your info or have you sign up just to say "damn it didn't give you the discount, but I can add a 10% discount" lol ok scammers. To add to that the sales rep didn't even know what deals they had going on (which I'm sure she did). But had to make it look like she didn't (just another tactic of theirs to make it seem like they are looking out for you. Which they are not, at all. I used to love to come here years back and get my jewelry at this location, but it is all new people. That are very unprofessional and the whole place has a very bad vibe about it. Won't be coming back here anymore.
