The first time I had stayed foe almost a week. I had to take out my own trash, clean my own room and beg for toilet paper. When i saw housekeeping she said she doesnt speak english and tried to shove a phone in my face. I backed away and tried to explain again about rhe room and also ask for toilet paper, towels, etc.She shoved her phone in my face again as she gave me a mean look. Then said that she dont speak English. She seemed very angry that i would not try to speak Spanish. I told her that i do not speak Spanish. She told me that she does not work for them. I went to front desk but there was a line and no staff was there. When staff finally returned she told me that she was in the bathroom. She told me that the help is an outside contracted company. I was told that they hired them because they are cheap and will do the work where as if they hire Americans they would get a union and compliants for more pay and better working conditions. The front desk lady then apologized for the service and said that management does not have morning meetings anymore so customer service is very poor. Later, my WiFi was hacked. Surprisingly i stayed again last night. The lady put me in a room where the toilet would not work and was making loud sounds, the pillows smelled like dunk and sweat and the floors were dirty with visible holes in the carpetShe had a man bring two pillows. He came up with two pillows that looked wrinkled and dirty. I went back downstairs where she demanded details of my dissatisfaction so i explained. She gave me an ugly look and handed me a key that she already had. I went to that room and there was huge stains on the bed. I took a picture of them but unfortunately camaras can not record the pee/funk smells that where on the beds. I took a picture of the carpet with the holes in them, the dirty sink, stained furniture and proceeded to go back to her. At this point she was very angry with me. When I tried to tell her what was happening she made me feel like i was a liar , gave me a hideous look and said, "let me see!" As she was leaving to "see" I took out my phone and showed her the pics. She looked shocked at first and then very, very angry. I then began to calm like record her rude words and actions towards me as she grew more and more hostile towards me. She then told me to stop taking pics. I lookd above her head where there was a camara there and calm explained that I'm just trying to keep things fair. She called the police, tried to lie and say I was hostile, described me in such a way that I felt that she was racist. I asked for my money back. Her behavior made me feel like I was not going to get my money so Icalled the police also because I felt she was going to rob me of my refund by lying on me and slandering my name so that she could justify robbing me. I steppped away from her so that she would not lie on me and thats when i heard her describe me to the police as if she was describing a criminal.Being African American I took offense to how she was slandering me and lying on me so I called the police again. The dispatch appeared empathetic and as if she believed that this nightmare was indeed happening to me. She assured me that the police waa on the way. My husband realized that she was not giving us our refund although she lied and said she would so he called Expedia to get the refund from them. Please note that they disabled photos on this platform, so check out my review on other platforms where media coverage is available. Her name is Jordan. They are just collecting money and cutting corners. The resteraunt never open and the balcony doors are broke. The service is horrible and they lie on you-making you the villain rather than the true VICTIM that you are. If you want poor service, to fight for your refund at the risk of being slandered and lied on, the police called on you and your internet hacked then this is the spot for you. BUYER BEWARE AND BE WARNED.

Unfortunately this hotel seems to be barely making it. This was my second stay only be a it’s the closest to my relatives that I visit during special occasions. I wonder if it’s up to code???It’s not Alive and very few reasons to return. This room 123 had NO heat!!The furniture is old and gloomy!Never purchase at the hotel directly it’s more expensive so luckily I paid online others I wld still be kicking myself!Barely anything to buy water, drinks, chips a scarcely available. It’s not a family oriented place but single truck driver feel at best!Otherwise as usual I love Schaumburg’s vibe outside of this dreary Hotel / motel is more accurate!!!Rooms: Out-Dated, no heat in some!Food & drinks: Not much at all!Noteworthy details: SADLY lacking ambiance, variety, life, moderation, etc…

As soon as you walk in you smell musty old carpet. Front desk friendly. No pool. No restaurant. My sister was visiting from out of town. I thought Schaumburg would be a great area. We both stayed at this hotel. Balcony "security" is a metal rod wedged in the door. One set of towels. Bed extremely squeaky and noisy!!! Had to empty all our own garbage. Put the garbage outside the door. Come back 4 hours later it's still there. Not the best stay. But the horror show was the morning we were checking out. My sister frantically knocked at my door at 3am. She has bed bugs in her room. And was bitten a few times. My sister is also 4 months pregnant with twins. We packed up and went to check out. The lady at the desk didn't seem surprised or concerned. In 4 days didn't see one housekeeper or housekeeping cart!!!!!!!After returning home. She called corporate. Someone from the hotel then called. And began trying to scold her. Asking her why she stayed in the room with bed bugs. She told the lady If anyone had seen the bed bugs we would have left earlier!!!! She then offered a free night or two. My sister informed her that NONE of us would EVER knowingly stay in a hotel with bed bugs. The lady seemed annoyed. At that point she said all she could do was take 50% Never once did she apologize!! Immediate after landing she had to take her clothes to be professionally dry cleaned. DO NOT STAY IN THIS BED BUG HOTEL!!** Trying to figure out how to upload pics**Rooms: Bed Bugs!!

Had to move rooms due to mold. Second room had broken door, moisture issues, bed could have been more comfortable. Location was great and staff were nice. Customer care here is a nightmare. Been over a week and still trying to get assistance. Unacceptable.Walkability: Close to expo center

I tried to speak to someone to book 44 rooms and a banquet hall. I was given a phone number for their Corporate reservations. I was told by the employee at the hotel that there was no phone number, just an email. After I spoke to Corporate they just rerouted the call to the hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois. I spoke to a different employee they also stated that there was no person to speak to. When I asked her for her Manager, she hung up on me.We were going to spend up to $10,000. By far the worst guest service I have ever encountered. Now I understand why their star rating is so low.

The staff was incredibly kind & helpful. The hotel was very clean & aesthetic. The rooms were great, & the location was perfect, easy access to so many attractions & restaurants. As well as right off the highway that took us straight to United Center in Chicago in just 30 min.Nearby activities: There was a beautiful 4 story mall less than 10 min away, the Chicago International Arboretum Sculpture Park less than 10 min away, as well as multiple other shopping establishments, almost any type of food you can imagine (multi culturally speaking as well as fast food, delivery or sit down), a gold course, movie theater, & much more. Also only a 30 minute highway drive from Chicago.

This was hands down the worst hotel I've ever been to. While we could check in early (for an extra $30 fee) in the first room the bed was not unclean. Upon being moved to another room we found the following:-the room door was insanely hard to open-there was a hornets' nest in the window-there was SEVERE water damage in the windowsill at the top behind the curtain-there was a live spider on the ceiling-the water in shower NEVER got hot (we were luck to get lukewarm at best)-halfway through the weekend the hotel ran out of toilet paper and we had to wait until the next day to receive some-there was no hand soap in the bathrooms to wash our hands (used the shower gel)-the room carpet was severely stained-most of the towels are stained-while I never had an issues with front desk staff some of the others in my party had issues with them being incredibly rude-most frustratingly: although the stickers on the mirrors in the bathroom say they service the room every three days and will do so before then if requested (apparently the chain is attempting to go green) they actually only service every 4 days and will NOT come even if you request before that 3 day periodUltimately, I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. I think it would be in their best interest to close for at least of year do some SERIOUS renovations and then consider reopening when ALL of them are finished. The area has potential, but this hotel was an extreme letdown. I will not return.

I’m pretty disappointed in this location. I was called ten minutes before I arrived and was told there was no water but it would be back on in the morning. I had just drove six hours for a work trade show, and at 11 pm finding another hotel with openings for four days wasn’t an option. I thought it would be a minor inconvenience. It wasn’t. There was no water for 24 hours, then no hot water for another day. We had to call multiple times to get any sort of refund, and they lied saying they had “offered me compensation so I could stay elsewhere”. No, they called and told me water would be back on in the morning. They ended up giving us half off of two of the four days I stayed, and it was liking pulling teeth to get any sort of assistance. There were no apologies, and they were dismissive of how gross it was to have to go multiple days without a shower when they kept saying we’d have water, then hot water, and it was far longer than they said it would be. At check out I had to make sure the discount was applied and the man at the front desk was incredibly rude saying “why do you think you need a discount?” I’ll never stay again, and I’ve stayed at a lot of Wyndham locations that were fantastic. The word has got around in my industry already. I couldn’t imagine owning a business and thinking this level of horrendous service is acceptable.

Really good deal on rooms for 4 days. Seems to be due to ongoing remodeling. Closed pool. Closed restaurant. There is no added value to this location. Fortunate its not much distance to just about anything you might need. Food is easy to find.Elevators are limit 2. Not all ice machines work. Not all cable stations work.Bed was clean and odor free. Bathroom was clean.Hotel need to work hard to identify and expel guests violating no smoking in the rooms. No one likes a room that smells like an ashtray.I assume the owners of this location will continue to remodel and issues I have noted will vanish in a year or two. I also assume rate will go up when the issues are all fixed,Anyway, its a pretty good deal, if everything I have said doesn't bother you.I honestly dont ever expect to be in Chicago again, but if i do i will consider this location again.

Sorely disappointed in this hotel. Classic example of "lipstick on a pig" renovation. Service is no better than that either. First it's a "we don't make up the rooms unless you request and fill out this form". I filled out the form and confirmed that room would be made up.... nope... didn't happen. Drapes in my room are literally falling apart from sun damage and the pool (advertised as open) is "closed for renovations". If you need a cheap place and don't give a damn about customer service or quality, this is your place. Additionally, no one at the front desk seems empowered to anything about anything. Pay the extra $20 a night and stay anywhere else, you'll be glad you did. Watch for the meaningless word salad response from the "owner"... "we're so sorry, blah, blah, blah..."

They had hair on the bed like man wiskers, wash clothes and towels need to be updated they are wornout. The booking site "hotel.com" says it has a pool and bar and dining....thier personal website it says until further notice they will be closed. Always test the iron and ironing board... iron kept spilling water back out after I drained it out...Bathroom was tiny no moving ventilation, had to keep the door open in order to use the mirror to get ready. Had 1 wash cloth 2 towels and 1 hand towel 1 roll of toilet paper. It was still to dirty for my tastes. Wiped up water on the floor and my napkins was dirty from itNO HOUSEKEEPING FOR 2 NIGHT STAY. If you need a cheap place fine to stay here 24 7 GYM sitting area in the lobby no breakfast Apparently there is a garden to veiw, not told about when we checked in. She was rather busy taking phone calls to explain where garden's were I would suggest having a map. For visitors

I would stay away from this hotel. There are many other hotels in the area. They may be a little more expensive but worth not staying here. I watched the people in the parking lot many who looked like they were drug addicts. The woman who worked at the desk on 07/28/2023 in the evening was the rudest person I've met and I've worked behind a counter and as a server for many years. She would not run my brother's credit card and said she would e-mail it to him. I waited and my brother finally had to come out to the hotel so she would run the card. The restaurant is closed and the main lobby looks ghetto. I did not feel safe when I got there. I've lived in the city and trust my instincts. Once I got into the room it was okay, clean basically. This is truly worse than staying at a Hotel 6. Pay a little extra and stay closer to Woodfield. It's worth it if you are planning a vacation or an overnight. I got up early and left.

The room wasn't cleaned when we arrived, and the website said that there was a military discount. When we arrived at check-in, they said that we do it when we check out. When we went to check out, they said they were mistaken and they need to do it during check-in. The beds were very itchy for my whole family. The only positive things I have to say are that there's a little pond that you can walk around, and the pillows un your room were decently comfortable. I dont suggest this hotel unless you have no other option. Very disappointed.

Nice hotel. Very reasonably priced. Good location. A great place to stay if you're going to an event at the Renaissance convention center. You can just walk over and don't have to worry about parking. We did not get any room service while we stayed there though. I ended up going to the front desk and just getting a trash bag from them.

The hotel is a very peaceful. A bit isolated. The breakfast is great consideri ng you're an Indian and If vegeterian. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A 5 min walk will take you to a nearby gas station and multiple food outlets along with 7/11 which is great. The hotel provides a shuttle based on your booking type I believe. Which will take you to the Woodfield Village Mall/Macy's/Marshalls/Mcdonalds and also Dollar Tree the cheapest shopping store.Would surely like to stay l if I do visit again.
