Our movers where Paul, Brandon, & Anthony. They were the best. We downsized from a home with a lot of stairs. They did a great job & were careful with all our belongings. They were also very friendly & I can not say enough about thier work ethic. They made it well worth the money if I could give them 10 stars I absolutely would.

My movers Kevin Wilson, Anijel & Johnathan were wonderful to work with. They were efficient, patient & respectful. I have used Two Men and a truck about 3 times and never had a bad experience. I am definitely requesting that the 3 gentlemen move me out of storage & into my new home when the time comes. Thank you for your great service.

Update to the response: I have no confirmation paperwork from you. The only things I’ve received are an email that states I requested a quote and someone would call me to make the reservation, my deposit and payment receipt, and then the survey. The manager, Vanessa or whatever, told me she listened to the first phone call and the agent did not say anything about the time frame. You can see my attachments as well. Nothing you commented changes my original statements. Thank you very much. Original post: Moving crew was extremely nice and professional, first and foremost. Thank you Darion and Tyae for moving my items with care. I went with this company because I was quoted at an hour to an hour and half of work to move 2 beds, a sofa, and a chair at $215/hour, just into my U-Haul. The other company I looked at was only $400 for the whole thing with immediate arrival at the time I needed. Clearly, cost was going to be around the same so that’s not the problem. It was the fact that customer service told me things and the day did not go like that at all. Do not book an afternoon appointment if you are on a time crunch because they have a 2-hour window of arrival. I was not told that on the original phone call, so they got to me at 4:45 instead of 3:15. I left work early to be there on time, even though I called customer service and asked if I could push my time back to 3:30 (only 15 minutes) so I wouldn’t be late meeting them. I was told no, but she still didn’t even mention that there was a two-hour window of waiting anyways and their job was nowhere near finished. I could’ve stayed at work if I knew they weren’t going to be on time. Their previous job finished late because the person added extra things and they needed to eat lunch which is completely understandable but still inconvenient for someone who is also a paying customer with timelines. This pushed back my U-Haul return time since I couldn’t load any boxes or other items until the bigger furniture was in the truck, costing me more money to U-Haul to extend truck time. If you have time to play with and don’t care about a knowledgeable customer service team, go right ahead with them. But I will definitely be doing more research before choosing a mover next time.

I just moved in August 2024 and probably on the 3rd hottest day of the year. The three guys assigned to my move were in good spirits and completed the job in a timely manner and took the time/energy to explain the process, logistics and applicable fees. I will need them again in 30 days and plan on requesting the same team. My stuff is temporary in storage as a find a new home. Housing market is not great. :)

I had a small move and everything went amazingly smooth thanks to the office staff and movers. The scheduler was wonderful and so easy to work with to find the date/time that I needed. The movers came and within less than 2 and a half hours my stuff was loaded, moved to my new apartment and unloaded. It was an extremely hot day and the movers had to move heavy furniture to the 2nd floor apartment (through a very small stairwell) and they just kept working. It was a great experience and I am so grateful for all their work!!!

Had a great experience with Two Men and A Truck Schaumburg location. I took a chance and called there last minute. Vanessa in the office was super helpful and asked just enough details. When the guys came out (Cody, Jimmy & Garret) they knew exactly what to do. They were polite, careful and very efficient in their workmanship. Based on my experience with these four individuals, I would definitely reach out to them again.

Second time using Two Men and a Truck! They did an excellent job! The initial call and booking were easily set up. The day of the move, they showed up on time, were helpful, took their time, and were professional! The load in and load out were quick! I will definitely recommend them to others and will use Two Men and a Truck again!

I’d give zero stars if I could. The moving crew showed up at my place this past weekend for my move from my apartment. They looked at what I had to move and said that the estimate was incorrect and that based on what I have, they should’ve brought a bigger truck. They were told that I only had 12 items to move? That’s not what I discussed with the estimator over the phone when scheduling the move. The only options I was provided was for them to just take 12 items, reschedule the move or keep the current move going, but make multiple trips. I had to move that day, so I had to go with option 3. They charge by the hour, so needless to say, I paid significantly more than what I was quoted. I ended up having them take the furniture (still took 2 trips) and had to move the boxes myself in my pickup truck with multiple trips back and forth. Terrible experience. The whole point of getting movers was so I wouldn’t have to move my stuff myself. The only saving grace was that the crew themselves were very cool and down to earth.

Don’t.. stay away…. they sent 3 guys 1 experienced, 2 beginners. since the beginners was so unexperienced and do not do anything about uninstall and installing, normally 5 hours work finish 2 hours more. One of the new guys was entered the home with his muddy shoes and ruined the carpet. They of course charged additionally and in the tine of moving you need to get things done you have to accept extra hours. In the last 1 hour only one guy worked for installation and the others stayed in the truck and they charge for every minute of that. After they go noticed there was also damage on the floor. So when ı tell this the reply was you accepted the extra hours, what was ı supposed to do , in the day of moving you are desperate to finish and those guys know and abuse that.

We hired 2 men and a truck because of the reviews and price. The employees were nice, but make sure to get the insurance to protect your property. The 3 guys that moved my parents belongings were rushed and aggressive in their handling. We put in a claim for damages, which was paid...but some of the items damaged were sentimental in value and not replaceable. The driver was unsafe in how fast he drove; and when they arrived to deliver our belongings, boxes and other items were laying on the ground and strewn around the truck. We addressed the rough handling and frustration with the service and was told they talked about it and nothing that they could do. Definitely buy insurance and have someone with the movers at all times. The price went up by an hour, this was only moving from one apartment to another...not a lot of stuff. Here is a picture of our belongs when the truck arrived to unload...strewn about.
