First visit after new management/vet and this is still a great clinic. Staff was caring and took time to listen to concerns about my dog. Also suggested new, cheaper and better medications. No doubt be coming back to Spring Valley for future visits.

I have been going to Spring Valley for 11 years, yes, Dr. Flanagan and Dr. Stewart as well as their staff were absolutely amazing. My dog unfortunately has to go every four weeks and I really feel the doctor and staff have come along way to accommodating the Needs of our fur babies. I think people just need to give them a chance. They have a big shoe to fill as far as how wonderful Spring Valley has always been. I’m hoping my reviews continue to be positive with positive experiences as I will continue to go there as of right now.

I was looking for a vet’s office that did not feel corporate. I wanted the vet to have as much decision making power as possible, not some executive in an office. I feel like I found it here at Spring Valley. And their staff are wonderful as well!

Fantastic staff, techs and doctors. Their office is set up for patients and owners and is run very efficiently. I trust their medical opinions completely.

Found no issues here, I realize all new for Dr. Babler, he called me 2X to talk about my dog, which I found to be nice of him. Not saying the others weren’t great but I’m sticking with Spring Valley. Thanks for all the help Spring Valley Veterinary Clinic!

I've had trouble getting my dog seen here this past year. I just called and the first regular appointment is in a month from now, typically when you call they refer you to Golf Rose - they advised they only have one doctor now. Service has been good, now the issue is actually getting service.

The vets and staff have been absolutely wonderful with the care of my 2 dachshunds and recently adopted lab. They really do care about animals and their owners, treating us like family.

Called and emailed a few times about my dog who needs to be seen for an emergency appointment because he hasn't been eating regularly and has had loose stool for almost 2 weeks. Spring Valley finally left message giving me me an appointment 2 weeks away! When I tried to call their emergency line to get a sooner appt, the line just rang and rang. I understand they're down to 1 doctor right now, and that there are vet shortages everywhere, but some vets build in a chunk of time every day for emergency clients. Apparently the 2 doctors who were there aren't there anymore, which makes me very wary if the new vet is starting off this poorly.I'm not sure where the compassion lies in a vet that hears of an emergency but doesn't offer any help. But it's not just Spring Valley. I called 3 other vets who said similar things and offered no help either. Even the local ER vet is turning away patients because they're too busy. I loved the service I received at Spring Valley, but something has changed there making it very difficult to get an appointment. It makes me feel like they don't care about my pet even when he's very sick and that makes me want to find a different provider.

Edit: Dr. Babler gave me a call and cleared up a lot of my concerns regarding my cats potential heart murmur. He also apologized for the clinic not asking the standard of questions (without using an excuse which I appreciated). We will be back for a follow up in 3-6 months. To be honest, me and my cat scheduled an appointment because we used to see the former vet that was at this location (prior to retiring), so we had high hopes. However, the vet at the time of the visit was cold and didn’t pay attention to my pet. He also tried to diagnose a serious disease but told us we’d have to be back in 3-6 month to “re-check.” The only redeeming factor was the kind lady at the front desk and the vet tech. They both seemed open hearted and we’re just generally very bubbly. I understand that as a vet you may not be comfortable with a specific species of animal, but the way the vet behaved indicated that perhaps he wasn’t as knowledgeable as his doctors coat implied.I don’t see how you can attempt to diagnose a heart murmur and then simply ask me to come back in 6 months to confirm. I had to goad the vet into asking about what my cat ate during the day. I’ve been to MULTIPLE vets prior to this visit and each have a standard of questions they ask, regardless of how long we’ve been going there (ex. What does your cat eat, how often do they play, any vomiting or diarrhea, etc). NONE of those questions were asked at the time of the appointment and frankly it didn’t seem like the vet cared. Keep in mind this is an annual vet visit and we haven’t been to this clinic for a year and are meeting this vet for the first time. If you want to foster a relationship with the pet and pet owner I’d recommend even pretending like you care for the animal you’re seeing.I don’t mean to say all of this to be rude but this was my honest experience.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Half their staff is constantly calling off. I had an appointment for two basic nail trims for my dogs. They has to reschedule my first appointment, which whatever, fine. I then take off work TWO hours early to take them to their new appointment, to end up waiting 15 minutes in the smelly room for them to inform that they are trying to "scrounge" up some staff. Very unprofessional. 0/10 don't recommend.

I’ve been going to this clinic for over 12 years. I’ve never had a problem booking an emergency appointment until now.I really appreciate the prior care, but I can’t take a chance with my aging puppy.

For the most part the doctor and staff are friendly and caring to our pet, just unfortunate they don't have enough doctors.Good luck getting your pet seen by a doctor if there is an emergency. My dog just a seizure, and speaking to a vet hospital they said to have her seen by her primary vet, I called today but unfortunately she can't bee seen until a week from now because they don't have enough doctors.Update: The new vet called and offered to see our dog out of office hours, however we had already gone to another vet to have her seen.
