My family has purchased many Volvo's, but this was the first time purchasing from Patrick. The experience was by far the best (read my review of McGrath). Stela Sonic is an AMAZING consultant. She made me feel as if I was her only client, didn't BS me through the process, kept in constant contact, and delivered my car to my front door since I was working. If I could give her ten stars I would. She even worked some extras in my deal which was awesome considering it's holiday time. If you're in the market for a Volvo call Stela at Patrick, and if you have a Costco membership call her like yesterday cause they have an extra incentive to purchase right now.See you guys on the road! And you better have a Patrick frame around your plate!

Tola was great to work with. He worked with us before we got to the dealership so we could get an idea of affordability before driving all the way to the showroom. He was extremely helpful, kind, and easy to work with.

On September 18, 2023, I purchased a new 2024 Volvo and am happy that I chose to do business with Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg, Illinois. Shortly after my arrival at Patrick, I was very lucky that I was courteously approached by Belen Amador, my Client Advisor. Because she was not pushy (I appreciated that very much), I chose to accept Belen's assistance throughout the buying process. I was pleased that I had a seamless transaction because of Belen Amador's expertise and exemplary customer service. She was knowledgeable, helpful and thorough before, during and after the sale. Patrick Volvo is fortunate to have Belen on their staff because she is an excellent representative for their dealership. There is no question that when I need another Volvo, I will most definitely contact Belen. It was my pleasure that I had the opportunity to do business with her. In addition, I would not hesitate to highly recommend Belen and Patrick Volvo to anyone else interested in buying a Volvo. I have purchased many cars over the years, and I must say that I do believe this was the best car dealership buying experience I have ever had. Thank you, Belen and Patrick Volvo!

I recently purchased a vehicle from Patrick Volvo and, unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. When I bought the car, I paid a $703 title transfer fee, which created an expectation that the dealership would handle the process in a timely manner. However, this has not been the case.It's been four months since my purchase, and the title transfer issue remains unresolved due to a mistake made by the dealer when entering the type of title transfer. While I understand that people make mistakes, the lack of response and support from the dealership has been disheartening. My temporary plates have expired, leaving me unable to use the vehicle, and the dealership has informed me that I'll have to wait an additional three weeks minimum to get the issue sorted out. This has caused a great deal of frustration and inconvenience for my family and me.Moreover, the communication from the dealership has been far from satisfactory. I have reached out to them nearly twelve times with emails and voicemails, only to receive minimal responses to my concerns. It feels like they are brushing off my issue, which only adds to my frustration.I had high hopes when I chose to purchase a vehicle from Patrick Volvo, but the lack of prompt resolution to the title transfer issue, their mistake, and their unresponsive customer service have left me with a bitter taste. I truly hope that they can improve their service in the future, but for now, I would recommend potential buyers to approach with caution and be aware of the possible delays and communication issues that may arise.

This was going to be a great review, but unfortunately, I feel like the good service at Patrick ended the moment I signed on the dotted line for my new car (which I love).I was in the market for a new car, had planned to order an S60 Recharge from Howard Orloff (great experience by the way!), had a deposit down and everything, but unfortunately my circumstances changed and I couldn't wait for a car, so I went searching for in stock models and Patrick had a bunch of new 23 XC40's that had just arrived. I had some friends who got their car from Patrick and said great things about their experience, so I drove out from Lakeview to Schaumburg on a Thursday (10/13) night to have a look at their stock. I found a model I liked (Black with the Blond interior....gorgeous!!!) and came to terms with my sales associate (Mo) and finance guy in short order (they even took $$$ off MSRP which was a pleasant surprise). Before heading out to Patrick I saw on their website they have this whole section "At home or in-store, we're here for you" - talking about how you can test drive at home, how they do home delivery and will even come to your house to pick up your car for maintenance! So when it came time to leave on Thursday night after signing all the paperwork, I asked if they could deliver the car to me in Lakeview the following day, Mo said this would be fine because the car needed a software update that would take a few hours anyway, but after checking with his boss, he asked if I could catch an Uber back out instead and they would reimburse me for the cost, as they didn't have enough staff to drive the car out to me. This wasn't a problem so I agreed. Friday comes round, they still hadn't done the software update, so asked if I could come out on Saturday (10/15), no biggy, what's one more day without my car!So I Uber out on the Saturday, do a little walk around with the sales associate and jump in the car and off I go. Loved the drive home, however when I got home I noticed that the all-season rubber floor mats were missing, so I contacted Mo on the Sunday (10/16) and also sent along the receipt for my Uber ride from Lakeview out to Schaumburg for reimbursement as requested by the dealership ($56). I asked if someone could deliver the floor mats to me at my office in Rosemont, which is only 20 minutes from the dealership, save me having to drive even further out of my way to get something that should have been in the car to start with. I did not receive a response from Mo, so I followed back up on 10/19, he told me to drive out to the dealership to pick them up...another trip out to Schaumburg! I asked about the money for the uber, he didn't have the paperwork processed yet, but would soon.Mo reached out on 10/27, says he has lost the receipt, asks me to resend, which I do. I follow up with him on 10/31, 11/9, 11/18 and 11/30 and I have still yet to receive the refund for my uber ride. I have given up at this point. Now I get it, it's $56, big deal...but it's really the fact that the customer service disappeared as soon as I signed my contract....no car delivery to me, even though advertised on the main page of their website....missing floor mats and I had to drive out and pick them up....and still $56 out of pocket for not receiving a service that they advertise on their website! I will not be coming back to Patrick, nor will I be recommending them to anyone. I will take all future business and car sales to Howard Orloff where I should have just waited and purchased my car from to begin with.Disappointing experience.

Just a had a great experience leasing a 2022 XC90 from Patrick. We were able to complete most of the process online and found value in the in-store experience / test drives when we were ready. Katie was very helpful and overall very happy with the process.

Who has nightmares of buying a new car? We just sold our Nissan Rogue which every month needed to be serviced, even though we didn't drive it cause of Covid-19 and in home quarantine. Well it was time to go car shopping...we decided we needed a car with reliability. We looked at Car and Driver and everyone else...Volvo!!! We went to Patrick Volvo just to test drive a car. We were greeted by Tola Akinola, I don't know the guy, but let me tell you his friendliness and knowledge of what he had on the lot was apparent. What do you do when you're car shopping (don't let them know you want the car.) anyways we were talking and we say we want to test drive the car he says he needs an ID and me and my wife were off. There's a lot of Volvo dealers around,but no one has a Tola. He made the car experience so easy and comfortable.We actually waited one day to buy because we had to test drive a competitor. But we knew after all the test drives we wanted the Volvo. We called and asked for Tola and made arrangements to meet the next day. The next day we came and we found out Tola came on his off day! Long story short he made the experience so easy and great! Mind you the finance and contract decisions isn't on him, we know we have to deal with the sales and finance people, but for sales ask for Tola Akinola cause he's awesome!!!Love our our Volvo and experience!!!
