I have been Patrick Mini's customer for six years. Matt Kinsella always follows up and introduces me to good products. I initially thought that MINI was too small during the last lease and not very useful for my current lifestyle since I moved to the suburban area. I was considering looking for a bigger vehicle after my lease ended, but Matt introduced me to the new model, the Countryman. This 2025 Countryman is the perfect size, has a luxurious feel, and rides very well. I am very pleased with it. Thank you, Matt, for always being there.

Overall the experience was good. They don't offer temporary licenses plates, so prepare for that if you plan to transfer your old license plate. They also charge sales tax based on the address on your drivers license, but they're willing to adjust it for you if the address on your DL is not correct. They offered a protection package which is a good way to protect your new vehicle. They offered an extended warranty as well.

Joanne Tuiaana helped me get my wife into the Mini of her dreams for her 50th Birthday present. It was an out of state purchase, but Joanne made the entire process seamless with the vehicle delivered to my doorstep!

We were looking to downsize from our 2011 sedan into something more fun, functional, but with better MPG. We are in no rush to change the car since we seldom drive it anyway, but I inquired for a test drive through the official website at Patrick Mini just for kicks. The combo of text, email AND phone call is a bit... aggressive... but it was surely easy to get an appointment!
After we arrived, we were greeted by someone who told us to wait for Joanne to help us out, and, like all other reviews mentioned, Joanne is the best. She didn't try to sell us a car per se, but rather, she tried to understand what brought us here, deciphered the concerns in our heads, and tried to explain what the mini could or could not provide. It's all quite magical. Joanne would both patiently explain to us, and guide us through where to press the buttons ourselves. Thinking back, maybe this is one of the jedi mind tricks to Mini ownership....
We ended up spending 2 hours in the dealership in a blink of an eye. This mainly includes
- sitting in a few cars experiencing the interior, asking for a tape measure, climbing in and out, and asking Joanne many questions,
- test driving 3 (or 4?) mini models,
- chatting with a Mini owner visiting the store and hearing about how great Mini and Joanne is,
Then we went to a few other dealerships for another 2 hours to test drive a few other models in mind, before coming back to Patrick Mini again. We told Joanne about our test drive experience, and asked Joanne if we could do another test drive. She was like, duh absolutely, so we went for a longer ride, and Joanne made sure we could cover all the test cases in our heads.
Joanne would never push or ask us to buy a Mini, but in case we want to buy one, she is there to help. So when we decided that we want to pull the trigger, it's almost surprising to find out that she is good at sales too. She made sure to go through the Patrick Promise, various fees and what they entail, and she worked really hard in our favor to get us a price we couldn't resist.
Now that we have officially placed an order, I'll update the review when the car arrives in a few months. But before that, 5/5 for Joanne and our experience at Patrick Mini today.

Being from Pennsylvania I was apprehensive about purchasing a car out of state but Joanne Tuiaana couldn't have been more helpful. She kept in touch with me through the whole process and was extremely easy to work with. I would highly recommend using her. She made the process run so smoothly and my new mini arrived as planned.

Negotiating a car purchase is not on my list of favorite things but I must admit that Joanne at Patrick Mini was outstanding and over the course of 3 days I purchased my first Patrick Mini. The back and forth was honest and forthright. I could not be happier about how things turned out.

We bought our 2024 Mini Convertible from Patrick Mini remotely. I found it online, living in Nashville. Matt, Joe, Kevin and the whole team walked us through the process and made it seamless as possible. They calmed my fears of buying online and not seeing the car at the time of purchase. They even helped line up transportation for us to receive the mini in Nashville. I can’t recommend them enough! They are awesome!

*Update 6/21*
They promptly respond to you on here asking to provide more details and to show as if they have a working customer service department, but they don't. Even after I provided all the details over email, the only response I received was that someone will reach out to me, but never did.
*Original Review*
I have been to Patrick Mini 4 times in between October to November, and that will tell you that something is not right about them. Thier Multi-Point inspection is a JOKE. They are only interested in finding issues which are labor intensive but would miss out the obvious ones like coolant level is low or that the battery is about to die.
My first ever visit was in Oct and everything was good, they told me the tires need to be replaced and need alignment. So I replaced my tires and went back to them to get the wheel aligned. No mention about poor health of the battery. 40 days later, during a snow week my car battery just died. Thier multi point inspection from 2 months ago mentioned battery health was good, wonder what they even checked?
During the battery inspection, they mention the engine mount is broken, well that can happen anytime so I said okay lets replace it. They also mentioned coolant refill and flush, something which wasn't mention in previous visit. This time they also found a lean mixture code, which was supposed to get fixed with a software upgrade. So they did that as well.
Here comes the shady part, they told me battery replacement would cost 580 USD. When I told them the value service price on their website is 380, they said they would honor it only to be told an hour later that they have run out of batteries and are getting a generic one from O'Reilly and apparently they are the "same thing". Really? I didn't had any option so I let it go and went ahead with whatever battery they gave me. Imagine an authorized dealership not using MINI OEM battery?
3 weeks later my CEL comes on and its the same lean mixture error, this time they said the fuel tank valve has to be replaced. So the last software upgrade that I spent on was for nothing. So I spent another 300 dollars.
During this multi-inspection they found out a crankshaft leakage, which was hard to see. Again something they didn't notice in last 3 visit?
Like I said they will try to find labor intensive issues only, instead if they had told about all this upfront I would have rather not spent so much money on 10 year old car and would have probably upgraded it.
P.S. - I keep checking my oil level to see if the there is any leakage and so far haven't noticed any in 3 weeks. It makes me question their inspection and work ethics.
I will probably take my business somewhere else now.

I purchased a used 2021 mini with 17k miles on it and have put 3k since March. It now needs new rear brakes - something clearly overlooked in pre-owned certified inspection report.
I dont take take my car to Patrick for anything other than oil changes - repair prices are much better in other places in Schaumburg/hoffman with better parts - I would check out Abby Automotive
And if buying from Patrick ask for a thorough inspection report like the one they will do on the trade in - that was about an 8 page report - pre- certified inspection was 1 page
Thanks Patrick!
