I had a couple online shopping returns so I went here to print a couple shipping labels and buy some packaging. The self-service printer was super easy to use, but an employee was always close by in case I needed help. Printing here isn't expensive, even when you're only printing a couple things. The employee who rang me up at the register when I bought my packaging was very friendly and polite, and he helped me sign up for the free rewards program, which actually saved me some money just for signing up!! Overall I had a really great experience and I really recommend this Office Depot

I purchased office supplies and upon checkout, cashier instructed me to donate $5 for some charity. There was no request or presentation of what the donation is for. He told me to press the $5 button. If he politely asked, I have no problems donating to worthy causes. I am getting my office supplies from Amazon now.

I had no idea about office depot so when I needed photo copies and print outs I searched and found out that office depot can help. As soon as I entered depak greeted and right away jumped in to help me out. Very accommodating and very helpful service by depak and eric, hats off to both of these employees.

Purchased a printer from office depot in lake Zurich Brought it home and it didn't work. No manual or instruction. It was used when we purchased it. The store wouldn't do anything so we took it to the Arlington heights store and they refunded me. Better service at the Arlington heights store.

Just purchased an executive desk chair. It was the leather big and tall model for about $400.00. My sales rep was Jamal. He really is great when it comes to customer service! Turns out they had plenty of these chairs in stock for immediate pickup. Reading the reviews most people gave this Serta Brand chair high marks but said it would take about an hour to assemble if you did it yourself. I decided to have the people at Office Depot in Schaumburg do it for me at about $15.00 extra. Now here is the rest of the story... They got it ready for me in less than one hour. The day before, I almost purchased a similar chair from Staples in Elk Grove Village, IL. BUT they could not assemble it for me quickly. :( They said it would take 24 hours! Had to check out the Office Depot in Schaumburg and see if the could do the assembly faster than that. I have been using my chair for two days now and it is great! It even came with a Ten Year Factory Warranty!

The most helpful staff I've ever dealt with compared to all the other Office Depot locations and even Staples. I've had the best experience with everyone who's worked at the copy center. I don't have their names but I remember their faces and I come all the way from Chicago because I know they will help me with all my printing projects. I am not the most tech savvy, but their staff is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to advice on how to get your formatting correct before you print. I did all the printing there for my bridal shower and wedding! Super affordable to do it yourself and go to Office Depot to print. The manager Tyler has a great team! It's hard to find a dedicated team willing to help with the smallest and biggest projects. I will continue to drive an hour just to get the service I get at this location.

If you want good service, fair prices, accurate product receipt of what you purchased, accurate delivery, proper assembly, concerned management, considerate people, concerned employees, much more that the consumer should fairly get and not get ripped off, and all around ethical business practices -DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION, because it will not happen to your 100% percent satisfaction guarantee as advertised on the receipts. However, if you want shoddy salesmanship, indecisive operations management, all out lies and deception with no remorse or reflection on ones business impact or how it hurts the customer, this is your store. This has been my experience and in reading the many other comments here and on other sites about this location, it appears I am not alone. Therefore, I would encourage any consumer, and I will continue to do so, not to even step in the door. You will be wasting your time. And life is too short. There are other options to obtain what you need then going here. --Louise K

I give one star only become i have to. My order was placed online and due to arrive on 6/4/2021. It did not arrive. I tried online tracking which did not work. I tried to call the 1-800 number multiple times and remained on hold for over 30 min with no answer. I tried their automated chat by text which did nothing. I called a store to check in the status---i have currently been on hold 20 min while someone is supposedly looking into the matter. NEVER AGAIN

Terribly Short staffed, one person is doing checkouts, runs the other end does printing and again another corner FedEx shipping. Took ages for 5 customers to make a simple purchase.

Their printer paper Item 876-960 is excellent. YELP: Please note, this Office Depot on Golf Rd has a new ph number, which is NOT referred to if you dial any of their prior numbers. One might conclude the store is closed, but it is still open. Just dial 847-598-4850.

I purchased an office chair from the Office Depot website. On their site it said it was in stock and ready for pick up at the store. When we arrived at the store, the employee said there was no chair. After some going back and forth between the store and online customer service, we ended up with no chair and no refund. This went on for a couple of weeks. This was not a pleasant experience but that can be for a separate review.I left a complaint on their website and a few days later, we received a call from Shane, the general manager of this location. The four star rating is for this specific store and not Office Depot online services. Shane was very understanding of our situation and went out of his way to have the chair for us at the store. He spoke with the person we were dealing before and said they ought to feel more empowered to help customers in situations like these. Shane set an example of great customer service and restored our trust in the store! For the time being, we will stay away from online purchases and visit the store when we need office supplies.

I brought in my laptop that wasn't working properly to Office Depot to get the free check up. They told me they would call me in a few days when their tech looks at it which was fine with me. The next day I received a call from the worker telling me that my laptop would need about $200 worth of work and I told them not to do the work and that I can pick it up soon. I got another call the next day telling me I owed $25 even though I had told them not to do any work but I was ok with this and I had plans to pick it up that night. I ended up not picking it up because of other conflicts. The day after that (today) I get a call from the tech again telling me that my laptop is ready to be picked up, but this time he tells me I owe $245. I never told them to do any work and now I owe $245 for a laptop I only payed $300 for? That makes no sense and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. I have other things I could have used that money for that are far more important but I can't anymore.

“Same day prints” are definitely not same day. Ordered at 10:30 am, wasn’t ready by 7:30 pm. “ We had many orders for today, yours is not ready”
