Tried shopping here twice on different occasions, and both times I felt uncomfortable and alienated by the employees. First time I was shopping, one sales associate kept hovering around me, and when she actually came up to me to ask if I needed any help, it was in a tone that felt like she might as well have told me to leave. That was my first time shopping there, for maybe 10 minutes of browsing, until I felt unwanted there. Today, as I’m writing this, decided to check out the perfumes as I’m in the area. I was with my father, and as I was looking at the testers and had sprayed one on a test strip, I turned around to accidentally lock eyes with an employee. It wasn’t a coincidence either, she just stood there facing me, staring at me. As we both left, my father remarked, “that employee was staring at us”. I quickly turned back around, as one does when accidentally making eye contact with a stranger, and kept looking at the perfumes. After a little bit, I begin to leave, but return to take note of a specific perfume I enjoyed. I took a couple moments examining the bottle, smelling the test strip, etc., all while very literally I was like less than a foot away from the person that stared at me. She was having casual conversation with another employee. She did notice me come back, and I know this because when I went to reach for the tester bottle on the shelf, she moved a smidge away so I wouldn’t have to reach around her. Both employees at that men’s perfume section did not bother talking to me, not even a hello. I work in retail, and although the store I work at caters to a different, broader, demographic, the experiences I’ve had would very likely have a customer complaining to a manager at the store I work. Seriously, there’s no reason for this treatment of a customer, other than profiling me or there’s just a general lack of customer service values.

Went to shop for shoes . Christmas sale is going on. Melsa at the shoe department was a great help. Picked up a pair of tan fitflops . When I went to Melsa she pointed out that they came in black as well. Then she spent a long time looking for the blacks and found them finally. The price was more than I was willing to spend but because she went that extra mile I bought them. Thanks Melsa! Love the shoes.

✨Sabrina✨ at the Tom Ford counter has helped me find the most wonderful fragrances at Nordstrom. She’s the most patient and kind person to find your next signature scent with! I’ve purchased Noir Intense, Lost Cherry from TF, Peony Blush & Suede from Jo Malone, and Delina Exclusif by Parfums De Marly on her recommendations on what I would typically gravitate towards and already owned! Will be coming here for my next fragrance buy ✨

Nordstrom is a great place to do all of your holiday shopping. The atmosphere is festive and families can find places to relax and regenerate so you do not have to shop till you drop. Nordstrom is a beautiful store with helpful knowledgeable sales persons.

Had great service in the lingerie department getting fitted for new bras. The staff were kind, patient and helpful with a large selection in my size. And then I was able to enjoy some delicious clam chowder at the Cafe to warm up on a chilly evening. Delicious as always.

I feel as though you can't go wrong here. While most things aren't cheap, neither are they ridiculously expensive. Their selection and quality are excellent, and their customer service should serve as industry standard.
