I send my 2 year old to this daycare and my daughter really likes it. She talks about her friends and all the activities they do. I'm so glad to have them as my childcare provider.

I went here when I was little, currently 17, and let me tell you out of all the daycares i went to this was my favorite daycare ever! I was always excited to come here and I learned so many good habits and was really sad when I moved away. The teachers were always excited to see me and my brother and so were our friends. Fun fact I’m still really close friends with a friend I made here, very thankful for that.

We just left Kiddy Garden after having our twin girls there for nearly five years and only because we moved out of the area. I am grateful to the women who helped raise my children and they have my full trust. Starting at six months old, Ms. Orysia and Ms. Mariela would nurture, rock and sing to them in the infant room. Ms. Tina and Ms. Heather taught them manners and not to bite or hit in the 1-2s room. By 3-4 they were with Ms. Mary Ellen who is a master with the crafts and activities. She also helped teach the kids how to control their behavior. Their final year was with Ms. Rosie in the pre-school room where she focused on sight words and teaching the kids their alphabet. Ms. Valarie and Ms. Geri, manage the facilities and are just as involved with the development of all the kids.Over the years, they helped us with all sorts of development questions, especially potty training. We even took our kids to the Hoffman estates park district program for a few months, but came back to Kiddy Garden. Of course things weren't always perfect, but this is a facility with very little turn over and teachers who genuinely care for the kids.

We left another daycare because the teacher to child ratio was too high and my 2 yr old was coming home crying every day and hated going to daycare. Now he's excited to go to "school" because he "gets to see friends". He started learning good habits right away like saying "excuse me" and wanting to help pick up his toys at home. We only have him there half days but they still try to do art with him and go outside almost every day (the other daycare had trouble just getting his diaper changed frequently enough. Art was non-existent). There's no app to see pictures or see live video feed and you pay by check, but honestly when the cost is basically half of what it would be somewhere else that has the electronic benefits, I think it's worth it. Especially since my son comes running to show me what he's playing with and then he has to give everyone hugs before we can leave. Since I always loved school, it never occurred to me how much of a difference going to the right daycare/school for your child could make. Now I wish I had sent my son to Kiddy Garden sooner.
