Extremally disappointing experience. Apparently there are "more and less important/valuable" clients. Mr. Kaczor only has time for the "more valuable" ones, or as they called it - "more complicated" cases. The less valuable are handled by his assistants. Even if you specifically ask for an appointment with him, you will find out that appointment was made with one of his assistants without your knowledge when you show up in the office for that appointment. I was assured that Mr. Kaczor oversees and checks everything before filing anything. So far, that has not happened yet in the last 4 or 5 years when filing tax returns. Even if you have been a LOYAL CLIENT FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS, he doesn't have time to review your tax returns or even say "hi". And I would be OK with that approach, but if you ask your tax professional (one of his assistants) tax related questions, and the answer you get is and I quote: "lets Google it", there is something VERY WRONG with that picture. Also, nobody else in the office is able to answer that question or even try to make an effort to find the answer. That really makes me question the knowledge of the entire staff and any training, if any, they are going through. And of course Mr. Kaczor is with a client and not available at the moment. I asked if he could call me back at his earliest convenience to address the issue since the tax filing deadline is approaching quickly and none of his staff know anything about the subject, I was assured that we will get call back the same day. Five days later - no call!! Time was running out so we have decided to call another local tax preparer in the area who we have never worked with before and guess what? They re-arranged some appointments and squeezed us in the very next day. We received excellent customer service and they were able to find answers and provide solutions in less than 20 minutes. The bottom line: if your "case" is not complicated enough for Mr. Kaczor himself and way too complicated for his assistants, do yourself a favor. Skip Kaczor and Associates and find yourself a different tax preparer. You will be glad you did!
