Beware of the chicken on sale…cooked mine up and it was BAD even though it had a good date on it. Why in the world do they think it’s okay to sell bad chicken and make people sick?! What a waste of money!

whatever staff is here, whether it is a manager, whether it is an associate, it is very rude and un friendly, i don't know why?
With each passing day the services of jewel Osco get worse and the quality of goods deteriorates.

I love this place ... Old school grocery store ... Excellent produce and booze selections ... Many neighbors and friends work there. Meat is reliably good.

Yesterday did my shopping over there . The cashier never responded to my hello salute . She was looking at me very angry and she was rude as she almost throw my receipt on the ground . She was an old lady with blonde /white short hair . I will try to avoid this Jewell in the future .

Is this the staff or management? After my last experience buying fried chicken, I said ‘No more.’ Today, I made an exception and stopped by to get some. Why is the staff lifting and dropping chicken pieces to select the ones from the bottom that were probably made in the morning and are now cold? I got a full bag of those. I understand your sales practices, but could you at least serve a mix that includes some freshly made pieces? Imagine how happy a customer is receiving a bag full of cold, low-quality pieces. Can’t you do better?

I truly believe that work local, shop local is magic formula for Great Country!
My Husband insisted for me to shop in our local Jewel Osco in Schaumburg location. Prior going to the store, I downloaded the app. Clipped few coupons.
Coupons didn't work at checkout. I was charged full price. After talking to the manager, and being publicly humiliated, I proudly left my full grocery cart by check out, and walked out from this store!
It takes 30 minutes or longer to clip so called Deals, it takes one hour to shop. I work two jobs, and my time is my money. To buy those genetically modified fruits and vegetables, you making people jump true hoops. No to U coupons.

I don't know why I keep going back and giving them another chance. It being close is the only reason I can come up with. Holiday weekend surge pricing, produce rots before you can get it home, misrepresenting items pricing on shelves, virtually no customer service, bagging my own groceries, which I wouldn't mind if the pricing was better. When comparing to other stores in the area the other stores pricing is almost 50% less on average. A longer drive to another store is obviously worth it. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Never going back.

The best Jewel around the suburbs. The staff in all departments are so helpful and friendly. Every thing they sell here is fresh and I know from experience that the meat here is fresh and good quality. (I’ve tried Walmart and Valli to name a few to save money, but it’s terrible meats)
The sales are great every week. I love it here at Jewel between Roselle Rd. and Wise Rd. Schaumburg
