Don't go here. Horrible. The worst retail experience of my life. Ordered glasses on April 22nd, on June 6th I'm actually picking them up. No communication. No Cust service. Horrible. Go anywhere else if you want to be happy. They are NOT JCPenney employees. They are a 3rd party seller. Save yourself the frustration and go to America's best or LensCrafters. Don't go here !!!!

Sarah Ocic the optical manager at JCPenney at Woodfield was absolutely the best at what she did, do you help me pick out my frames and the extras that came along with this, which definitely helped my vision and my appearance hats off to her she's the best

Zero star!!! On May 25th, 2021 I called in and the lady said she can help order contact lens for me. She charged my credit card right away, and ordered whatever she wanted to order which was not what doctor prescribed at all. I saw the manager in June explained that those are not what we ordered. She said "It is your property. You have to take it". I left without any product, but the charge of $85.13 on my JC Penney store card. Tried to dispute this charge. No one helped. This company does not responsible for the mistake they made, but push it to the client. I end up with the charge of $85.13 without buying anything from them. This is dishonest and unethical. The store manager did not try to help either. She transferred my call back to JC Penney Optical and to let JC Penney optical manager handle it... which went back to "It is your property, we are not going to do anything about it". Let's think this way...when you buy goods from stores, if it is not what you want, you can return it right? but what about this? This product is not what we ordered and we are forced to pay for it and accept it. We are forced to be responsible for their mistake! Very unprofessional! , untrustworthy, dishonest and unethical, more like scam!

I thought I was being frugal by going to a department store optometrist. It turns out I was just being cheap. I’m about to go back to the store for the sixth time trying to get my glasses right. Bad prescription the first time. Lenses that came scratched and keep falling out before I even leave the store. Lenses that are too thick for the frames. You name it. Save yourself a bunch of trips and avoid JC Penney Optical at all costs.

If only zero stars were available... Went yesterday and was literally policed by some woman who kept marching around the small space standing behind me for no reason. My mom asked her for the price of a specific pair of glasses and she responded that the glasses were "different prices." The "sale" is supposed to be two pairs for $99 but we were quoted a price of $693.00 . They looked for a cheaper price and quoted $673. Of course they justified the $600 price difference with the complexity of the prescription. Guess what? The last pair of glasses my mom got were also from here and she can not see in those either--from day one. The optometrist who examined her yesterday confirmed that the glasses were made incorrectly. My last experience with them ended with them stealing a pair of glasses I ordered which were really sharp then replacing them with some crazy looking glasses I had never seen. We tried giving them another chance but never again. No wonder they are going out of business they should.

I came in with broken frames and the staff was very helpful in trying to fix them, but my frames were too damaged (I accidentally sat on it). But the manager did help me find a new frame that was within my budget, and she was able to get it shipped the next day. Excellent customer service, and would definitely go back again.

This place is the pits. Watch you bill. They automatically put charges on it without asking. I accidentally caught it and she argued with me that it was for my own good
