If you are looking for experts to help you pick-out colors for your home - this store has it all. Lynn & Dean were extremely friendly, insightful, and patient with our questions and color suggestions. We came back multiple times and they were extremely helpful with guiding us to pick the right colors for our home renovations.
In addition to the wide variety of paint choices at the store, there are many useful painting accessories. It is a one-stop-shop for your needs with sublime customer service!

Dean Staveris and Lynn Kalish were really helpful and very knowledgeable. They help us, to decide and coordinate our colors. We start with one room and at the end we decided to paint our whole house. Thanks to Benjamín Moore to have Dean and Lynn as employees!! Excellent experience with them.

I went to Schaumburg store on 9/18/24, and met the asst. store manager Lynn Kalish. I explained to her the type of paint I needed. She helped me in selecting the paint, but also suggested to me to marbleize the wood to match my counter top marble. I told her I do not not know anything about it. She was willing to teach me how to do it. I was really surprised that she would teach me how to do it. Yesterday, I went with my piece of wood and she spent some time in teaching me step by step how to do it. She, being a painter, really knows her job! She willingly helps to teach customers paint methods they don't know about, that enhances the project.
You rarely find such personnel in the store to help. I suggested to her that her store should have weekly demo classes for various types of such projects, and, to select various types of paints. While she was demonstrating the process, she mentioned quite a few types of paint and applications, which as a consumer I never heard of. Such weekly classes, even at a nominal fee will not only benefit the store loyalty, but consumers like me will start using some nice paints. She was very friendly, and took her time explaining the whole process. I am glad I met her and will definitely consult her for all my future painting needs.

You guys, I learned I am the absolute most indecisive person there is, when it comes to paint colors! That being said, Dean was so super patient, laughed with (maybe at? ;) ) me, and helped me to narrow down my choices from the exhaustive selection of beautiful colors! He didn’t have to do that, but he really made the experience far more enjoyable! Both he and the other employee working at that time were very knowledgeable as I heard them helping the other customers while I hemmed and hawed. Great staff, and I highly recommend a visit.

The team at JC Licht are the very best! Dean is professional and so talented on giving guidance on color and product selection. He saved me thousands of dollars by matching a paint color to my siding to hide stain overspray from the previous homeowner. He also found the perfect color for the deck privacy wall. Lynn is also an amazing resource. She helped me bring back to life a 90yr old desk. I can’t say enough nice things about this crew. I am very thankful for this business.

We can't thank JC Licht on Roselle Rd. in Schaumburg enough. We talked to Lynn at the store and found her to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She was kind and warm, and answered all of our questions without hesitation. She also suggested a painter who we couldn't have been happier with, and will use again. Jeff Corson of Corson Paint was recommended to us, and he did a wonderful job with painting our 40 year old fireplace. He was precise and neat with his painting; his pricing was very reasonable; he was on time daily; was organized with his materials; and is as honest as they come. Jeff is a genuinely nice individual. I have lived in the area for about 20 years. I previously went to an Epco store that no longer exists. I needed to match the paint from that long ago as we are repairing a room. Glen was terrific in describing the various finishes and how they may impact the match. To make it more challenging, the color is red! He made me a sample of the eggshell finish, and I tested it. Turns out we needed matte. It will be much easier to handle the painting process now.
As I waited for it to be mixed, I saw everyone coming through was handled with patience and efficiency.

Recently we needed a stain match for wood looking vinyl covered trim. Though it is very difficult and hard to match, Lynn took on the challenge. The first attempt was close, but she did not give up. Lynn and Peter put their experience and expertise together and came up with a match, as well as giving me a lesson on how to apply the stain so it would turn out.
We were very impressed with their can do attitude and wonderful customer service.
We appreciate the extra effort and willingness to help us out. Keep up the good work.
