The hotel can be rated with 3 stars. The rooms are quite large. Bathroom also has a lot of space. But getting old.
Rooms: The room was big enough for 3 people. Refrigerator and kitchenette are also available.

I knew I was in trouble when I saw the popcorn ceiling. The outside makes it look newer than it is. This place needs a renovation. Although my room was dated, it was clean enough for a short stay. The cleaning staff is inconsistent. The front desk staff are great.
Rooms: My room was missing chunks of the walls. Didn’t pass the white socks test. The WiFi is weak. Prepare to be disappointed. This place would be great after a remodeling.
Walkability: The Woodfield mall is nearby as well as many great restaurants.
Food & drinks: Location is almost everything. There are many great restaurants nearby.

As we pulled up the face of the building looks very dirty. The main floor look nice. Here is where everything turned to crap. We walked into our room and the very first thing that hit us was the smell of dirty. A few steps into the room and you felt your shoes sticking to the floor. The carpet was absolutely disgusting. It looked like there was 20 years of dirt in it that was never cleaned. Upon advising the front desk we were immediately given a new room. The heavy smell of dirt in the air was abhorrent. The carpet was not as dirty but very close. There was no way you would walk in bare feet. Wearing socks to walk felt disgusting. We were to be there 3 nights we checked out the next day. The only good thing was the Shift Manager Peter and Front Desk manager Mohammed were extremely understanding and took care of us for our 1 night stay. Needless to say they were very embarrassed. The bathrooms were recently redone and they were acceptable. Got to my new hotel and immediately took a shower to get the dirt from this place off of me. If I could have found another place that evening I would have gone in a heartbeat. Actually this place deserves ZERO Stars.

Nice clean hotel in a good area of town close to Mall, restaurants, etc., we had a 2 bedroom with kitchen, living & washer/dryer down the hall. Convenient setup for a week.

Very nice rooms and the breakfast was very good! I like that it’s centralized around and pretty much everything around Schaumburg in the city so you have a lot of stuff for you to eat and go do.
Rooms: The rooms were very cozy. However, the sinks were outside of the restrooms, which was odd, and the bathrooms were very small, but other than that, the rooms were very nice nice
Nearby activities: Centralized in Schaumburg and close to downtown you have a wide variety of activities to do in the city or in Schaumburg to choose from.

It was an ok stay for a quick rest. We only stayed one night passing through, the rooms are geared for multi night stays with a small kitchen. Our rooms bath fan didn't work but it was clean. The hot tub didn't work well at the pool, but it was warm. Unfortunately since there is no signage identifying it as a hot tub with age limitations, since it was not working a lot of guests were treating it as a kiddie pool taking their infants into it, multiple infants/toddlers were in diapers in the hot tub (with their parents) on two occasions that we visited it. So we couldn't enjoy a relaxing soak even without bubbles/jets. We visit the area frequently, I don't expect we will return to this hotel in the future.

Hyatt House Schaumburg is clean and inviting. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is road construction at the entrance ( no fault of the hotel) which make it a little hard to navigate, but otherwise I would definitely recommend to visitors to the area.

The room was really good. The staff was really nice especially Peter (his customer service is outstanding). Only problem I had was the breakfast/lobby attendants. Breakfast is supposed to end at 10 and I got there at 9:15 and as I was grabbing my food they were standing behind me and packing up. A family came at 9:20 with 2 small children and was not able to get breakfast! My heart is broken for them! As you can tell the time I’m writing this review it is still not 10 am!
Nearby activities: So many things in the area.

There are definitely no omelets made on site here like a lot of reviews suggest. The breakfast is still pretty good, scrambled eggs with salsa and cheese, pancakes, sausages, and fresh strawberries, watermelon, yogurt, and good coffee. Rooms are standard and clean :)

Got to room and sat on the couch to figure out dinner. Within 5 minutes a large cockroach walked down the wall. They put us in a different room. Both rooms floors were dirty, worn down, and not at all what a Hyatt should be. Pool was ok but no towels and was told they were out of pool towels. Breakfast sucked. Go somewhere else.

The room was a little disappointing. It was dark, and the finishes were not as nice as expected. The flooring, in particular, was most unusual. It was cheap-looking and undulating.
The bed and bedding were nice.
There was an issue with the refrigerators in the kitchen when I was there, and there was no food available in the evening.
The location suited my purposes, and the staff were lovely and accommodating.
