Would recommend this place as it was easy to book an appointment, not hard to find parking, and the haircut was good / fast, about 30 min. Another perk is that it's not too far from Joong Boo Market so you can get your Korean supermaket shopping done right after.

Kay the owner is very experienced and does really cater to your wants. She recommends what will work and if you leave it up to she gets it right everytime. Saw this new place open up and I've been going here ever since she opened and really happy with all the results. It's really hard to find salon you stick to but this one is for me.

Got my haircut with Kay today, and it was just perfect! The cut is neat, stylish, and very comfortable. At the end, Kay styled my hair with a curling iron — it looks voluminous and well-groomed. You can tell she really knows her craft and pays great attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Just left the salon after getting a pedicure from Janna— as always, fast, high-quality, and incredibly professional. She truly is the best when it comes to pedicures and manicures. No one else delivers the same level of precision and care. I highly recommend her — a true Master with a capital “M”!
Also, I want to note that the two reviews below have nothing to do with Janna or her work. Please don’t let them mislead you — she is absolutely amazing!

horrible. janna nails service is horrible. they are so unprofessional i do not recommend at all. They barely speak english which is not a problem but the lady confirmed with me to come in at 3 pm and i said okay see you then. And i come in the next day at 3 and she says no we can’t take u. u didn’t confirm???? like if someone tells u to come in at 3 and u say ok see u then, what other comfirmation do u need? i highly recommend go somewhere else. they will waste your time. very rude and unprofessional

Kay is amazing! She handled my long, thick hair with so much care and gave me a cut that feels fresh and light without losing my natural volume. She really listens and knows exactly what she’s doing. Highly recommend her!

I finally found a salon that got the hair color i want, Kay is the best hair stylist i ever met very friendly, knowledgeable. This is the first salon that gave a keratin for free OMG i love my hair, thank you so much Kay highly recommend the Hair Dio Salon..see you Kay for my monthly retouch.God bless you😊

I had trouble finding a new hair stylist after she moved to another country after 20 yrs. Then I found this place and was very happy I did. She did a great job cutting my hair and my mom was also very satisfied with her haircut as she is a very picky person.

She's good at cutting and getting a perm. I've been there several times, but every time I go, they give me hair so that I like it. All the family members have been there, and they all had good styles. I recommended it to everyone around me.

Just got my hair highlighted and cut by Sophia and I love how it came out! She was so meticulous and really made sure to care for my color process and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I just moved to Illinois and am very picky about my hair stylist. I will definitely be coming back! I am so glad I found a great korean hair salon in shaumburg! Come check them out! I have a before and after side by side. Just amazing! ♥️
