guy behind the counter told me this rewards program or whatever was free of charge. literally told me in my face I wouldn’t get charged for anything, got a charge later. I called to cancel and get a refund, guy over the line wanted to “lower my bill” even though I’ve repeatedly told them how I never consented or gave permission to purchase this membership. If you’re the guy reading this, you’re way older than me to be working or attempting to scam people. Idc if your boss tells you to do it or not, maybe learn to find another job. ??

1 star because you’re forced into the rewards program when you check out. Nothing was explained to me and I wasn’t aware of the cost until after I was signed up. Now have to go through a hassle to get this and the magazine subscription canceled. Going to avoid shopping here in the future

Took me back to high-school. Plenty of nostalgic items. Nice store.

Fye. For your entertainment. I've been coming to this store since I was a teenager. While the cd section has dwindled, they have vinyl going. I love this store brings back memories

Quality of Pricing: 2.5/5Unique Store layout/spacing/Some things are more expensive to buy here than elsewhere (for instance, the manga is more expensive here). Service is rated low because employees deceive customers into a membership (see the other reviews).

Bruh do not sign up for the discount. i asked if it was a credit card or any fee. cashier literally lied to my face and told me no. literally a red flag when he asked for my id?? i should've just said no but he told me it was FREE. then he said the magazines came with it so i signed up for those too. i didn't even want to give an email but he kept ensuring me it was free and i would get a 10% discount on a $7 purchase. the cashiers are sneaky and deceiving people to meet what?? a f**king quota?? the customer service to cancel is so beyond infuriating and annoying. they try to convince you to stay for savings and a gift card THAT YOU PRETTY MUCH PAY FORalso my cashier spoke to me with his hands like a cosplayer... like bruhno wonder fye is not accredited on the Better Business Bureau, they have a D- these cashiers are literally god awful hellspawn i know fye stores aren't amazing but i didn't know that they've gotten this badf**k fye and f**k the cashier, my personal information is probably being sold so that fye doesn't go out of bankrupt

Same “rewards program” issue as everyone else with a very pushy and shady cashier. Called to cancel immediately and was told to wait 3 days to enter me into the system. Since then, I have cancelled online twice, but still keep getting emails and my account is still active even after getting a confirmation email both times. I have no idea when I will start being charged for things. I will never go back.

Do not sign up for their rewards program that gives you a 10% discount. I was well aware of the fact I had to cancel the $11.99 subscription before 30 days, however, it was unknown to me that I would be subscribed to time magazine. I was told I get two free magazines, but apparently I had been signed up for a magazine subscription service which I called and got a refund after seeing the charge on my account. Scummy business practices.

Cashier asked for Id for a "free rewards program" but it's actually a trial that costs money each month after the first. Was extremely pushy and would not give a straight answer about the process and kept making it sound like it was easy enough to cancel after I went home. Be careful when checking out

So clearly they purposely scam customers as you can see from other reviews. And they obviously don't care. They lie to you about their "rewards" system then you get charged a monthly fee. Called the corporate and they also don't care. They don't apologize for it and just try to lower the monthly fee. Do not purchase from this location and company at all. The employees are judgemental about the music you purchase. Garbage

RUN far away from this place. They will ask for your ID saying they need it for their “rewards” when they actually sign you up for a $12 a months subscription and don’t tell you. They also will sign you up for the magazine subscription against your will. And it takes forever by phone to cancel it. Worked here previously and quit because I felt so uncomfortable having to SCAM PEOPLE. And if you don’t scam people they’ll fire you anyway.

I love going to the woodfield mall because it has so many cute stores, but this one I will never step foot into again because of the outrageous way to sign up unknowing customers to magazine subscriptions they did not ask for. SAY NO when they ask you can get a discount and get your information (home address/driver license).
