For a minimal effort and a fun event, you can help starving people around the globe. This is a very worthwhile charity- I try to do it every time the opportunity arises.

We went on a afternoon with our kids and had a great time! We would highly recommend this as a family outing to help those in need!

My daughter had one of her first volunteer experiences today at this organization. She said that the staff was extremely rude and sarcastic to the students and teachers/staff that attended the school trip. I can not believe that the staff is allowed to treat volunteers this way yet alone children. Shame on you!
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit that provides nutritionally complete meals specifically formulated for malnourished children.
Donations given by people just like you fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved!
