This place is one of the nicest places I've ever been to. I want to stay here again. The staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms are impeccably clean and nice. Plus, they have a friendly room attendant.
Rooms: Immaculate and well-maintained accommodations.
Safety: One of the safest places, period.
Walkability: There are plenty of stores and restaurants in the vicinity.

Dumpy hotel. Especially dumpy for a suite with a kitchen. There was grime on the outside of the fridge, most of the furniture had minor damage, some had some of the chairs had questionable white stains, and there were dents and gouges in the walls. The only reason this isn't a one star review is that the floors counter, linens and other surfaces were clean.

I would love to give this location and Extended Stay in general 0 stars. I booked a two week stay for myself and my cat. Received my confirmation along with the breakdown of charges including cat fees. Arrived and called the front desk to see if we could get in a little early. Was rudely told "we don't allow cats". Reservations couldn't help as no other location had pet friendly rooms. Yeah, right. I will be contacting the corporate office. They need to stop advertising pet friendly and change it to dog friendly or whatever they feel like. Horrible experience.

On August 5, 2024, some emergency happened in our apartment building. The police and Fire men came wanted everyone to leave the building. I am disabled and at that time my son was out of state for his vacation. I was home alone with couple small pet birds (Green Cheek Conures). I saw this hotel allow pets. My bad luck two days before I saw some unauthorized charge on my bank account, notified Chase. Chase canceled my card. My son out of state booked this hotel for me. I took the Lyft and arrived at the hotel. When I arrived, the girl named Ami at reception was on the phone talking someone. Ami told the person on the phone that you can extend the room online and don't mention your mother only click one person. When Ami started to assist me and I even told her that I have birds. Ami asked fory card because she had to charge deposit. I told her I can pay cash. Ami said if you are paying cash then she had to charge $150. I paid to her. Ami told me that's fine. Just keep th in room only. Before I was going to come to hotel, I checked few places if I could put birds for boarding. Every single place I called I was told that birds must have recent vet visit with all diseases clearance report. I don't drive after being disabled and the vet is 45 minutes away. After living 4 days in hotel I ordered some groceries online for over $100. Right when I ordered all groceries, the old refrigerator got bad. I called Ami. Ami said no maintenance person is available right now and she'll have someone first thing in the morning. I told her that I got over $100 groceries and it would go bad. I even asked her if she can change the room. Ami told me that she doesn't have any ready. I didn't trust her because it wasn't that busy. Ami apologized. Next morning still no one arrived then in the afternoon I called again I was very upset. Because Milk and many other stuff was rotten. Even I put all of them by air conditioner. I was upset, pretty angry because all my money went down the drain for the groceries. I called Ami very upset about it. After more than 24 hours around 6:00 pm maintenance person showed up, replaced the refrigerator. The next day my son paid again to extend the room. Then I was notified by the receptionist named Mike that my room could not be extended. Upon asked why, Mike told me that this is the owner's orders and that I have birds in the room. I told him that Ami knew, she approved. Mike said that Ami is just a clerk. I even said that their website says pets are allowed
Mike told me it's only dogs. Well it never mentioned that it was only dogs. Afteruch of the arguments, I requested my deposit of $150 back. Mike told me no. Mike said that the owner said no deposit could be refunded. My son arrived a night before and parked his car in hotel parking lot. Someone at night removed our front license plate, that's how the bad location is. My poor baby birds were in the small tiny cage. whole room was clean. My caregiver used to visit me 4 hours everyday, keep the room tidy. Even in the room bedsheets, towels were dirty ones. The housekeeper who even brought washed towels didn't even look clean. What kind of services you have. Multiple times I asked Mike that I wanted to talk to the owner, but Mike refused to give me or let me talk to him. Only gave me an email address which never worked. I kept getting message, "Undeliverable".
Please stay away from this hotel because one day they might care for you, the next day they're hostile against you. Please be careful!!

I made the reservation online and received the promised emails. I arrived in the area at 9AM, too early to check in. At 1PM I called to ask if I could check in at 2. I was told yes, I could check in early, but my room wouldn't be ready yet. So I did not drive over for early check in. At 9PM I went to check in and was told my card had been declined at 6PM (highly unlikely) and so my reservation had been sold to someone else. This left my daughter and I stranded in Chicago without a place to stay.
Safety: Selling my reservation without contacting me was a wonton disregard for mine and my daughter's safety.

The manager has no ounce of hospitality sensibility. He had no empathy in his face nor his actions even after finding out that his system canceled my booking and I found myself late at night stranded after a long day in the airports trying to get a canceled flight rebooked and finally arriving exhausted and looking like one and finding my hotel has no room for me. He didn’t offer any form of small service even just to be kind. Mr Manager on evening of 8/4/24, please LEARN to FEEL for others.

Good location horrible room. It was a hole in the tub that they patched up with duct tape in room 205. It wasn't the cleanest Extended stay I've been to.
Room was not worth the nightly fee of $140. Choose Sonesta or Marriott if you have the additional funds. Walls are thin

Duct tape in the bathtub, the bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine, the smoke detector needed a battery and chirped all night long, the t.v had 4 channels which were difficult to access because the remote didn't work well, the coffee pot borrowed from the front counter, was missing the filter basket AND the 'breakfast' was hilarious! A bunch of oatmeal packs and breakfast bars in the drawer of a credenza in the front lobby, no fruits, no juices just 2 urns with hot water in one and coffee in the other.
Never again.
Rooms: Mostly clean, double bed advertised as queen sized and did I mention the duct tape in the tub??

The woman at front desk " Ami " was nice, WE STAY AT THIS HOTEL FOR 14 DAYS,MY ROOM 234 WAS HOT ALL THE TIME THE AC DID NOT WORK WE SWITCHED ROOMS TO 113 A LITTLE BETTER BUT DIRTY,SMELLY,THE FURNITURE WAS DIRTY,I DID NOT COOK BECAUSE OVER THE STOVE WAS EXTREMELY GROSS,FILTHY, COVERED IN FOOD PARTICLES AND DRIPPINGS.YUK,YUK!! FRIDGE IS DIRTY IN AND OUT!! BUT I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW OVER THE STOVE WAS HORRIBLE I SHOULD OF GOTTEN SOME OF MY MONEY REFUNDED BECAUSE I WAS NOT ABLE TO COOK..AND THE HORRIBLE SMELL OF MARIJUANA EVERY SINGLE DAY..ITS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY SO WHY DO YOU ALLOW IT???? GARBAGE EVERY WHERE,,,I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN....
Safety: Not safe,exit doors are prompt open all day and night.kids running around at night. Noisey late night.
