You can always get some great deals at dollar tree, but the atmosphere of the store is always just... super depressing none of the employees ever seem happy to serve you.

Never had a problem till today let me just say the cashier going by the name Louis is rude. Won’t even greet and threw the receipt right to me. Don’t work around customers if you don’t know how to be nice.

I visited this store 4 times in a total in the last few months. Each time I was buying same article; glass white candles. First time I asked employee if they have boxes for candles because I need to buy 3 boxes, 36 pieces. She told me they don't have anymore in a storage. I noticed in one of the aisles there were carts with a bunch of boxes with the candles but they were all different colors. I ask employee if they can unpack those so I can take white ones in those boxes. Employee told me this is not her section. And she's not going to do anybody's job and that I can buy whatever I find on the shelf. No box provided. Second time I came straight to the cashier and I ask cashier if they have boxes with the white candles because I need 3 boxes 36 pieces. There was nobody in a store except 2 of us. He told me he is the only one in the store and he cannot go and look, but I am free to buy whatever I find on the shelves. I explained that I need boxes or something to divide candles to prevent it from glass breaking because I have to drive long distance with them. He told me he cannot help me. Third time I came in a store again ask if they have boxes, they told me they do not have it, and I didn't buy anything. Last time was today and it was the same situation. They were not even willing to look for the boxes with the dividers to give it to me. Cashier and employee on the floor were not helpfull at all. Store was clean. Oneof them asked why I need candles with dividers boxesI explained that I need to travel with it almost 40 miles and I cannot buy it without boxes. I WAS TOLD THAT IS MY PETOGATIVE!.I buy these candles in many other locations, everywhere they are willing to wrap candles or to give boxes with dividers except in this store. One time in Mundelein, manager took cart from me, pushed it from the store to the parking lot to my car for me. This store is only dolar tree store were I as customer did not get even basic courtesy or service.

Line was long and manager(Caucasian older male) was in the back room only came out to do balloons AND was rude to some customers at the ballon station. You have to be patient in wait in line for at least 15 mins smh

The MOST pristine dollar tree I’ve ever been to! Everything is neatly organized and well stocked. The store is clean. There are no restock carts blocking the aisles like in other stores. And the store is more well lit. I didn’t know I could feel so strongly about a dollar store before!

One of the store employees misgendered my friend after we told her my friend was a boy and she didn’t respect MY private space. She went behind me and snooped in my backpack till I noticed, she even threatened to kick me out for getting my money out to pay at the cash register, never coming back again.

cashier was extremely rude to me. made accusations that was not true. other customers were speechless the way she handled my 1 one purchase.
