I explicitly asked Cece to not give me super short layers, and still I came home to find that I now have a short mushroom-looking cut on the shortest layer on top of my head. Very high price for such a minimal cut and went against what I asked for. I was charged a premium for having longer hair for the ending blowout, even though I declined a blowout. I also felt like my hair wasn't properly washed for the premium I was charged. My scalp wasn't scrubbed or massaged or thoroughly cleaned - which is really important to good hair/scalp health- because of the hairdresser's long acrylic nails preventing a thorough cleaning.

Hand’s down an amazing place. Cece is amazing stylist. She’s so kind and pays great attention to detail. She is incredible at what she does. Thank you Cece for gave me a beautiful haircut. I will see u again when I come back to Chicago for vacation.

I have very curly hair, and it has been difficult to find a good stylist that understands the nuances of curly ethnic hair. Well, I have finally found my forever stylist. Cece and her niece did an amazing job bringing my tired curls back to life. My hair came out beautiful, well moisturized, and the color was absolutely amazing! Also, I have been stressed out recently and Cece's salon is so calming. I actually started falling asleep at one point because I felt so comfortable and relaxed. Cece and her niece feel like long lost family to me now and I am so grateful to have found them. Run to Christopher Anthony for all of your hair styling needs. You will thank me later.

CeCe did an excellent job with my haircut. I told her what I wanted, and she did exactly what I asked for! She is personable, knowledgeable, and her customer service was top notch. This was my first visit and I will be coming back again. Definitely recommend to those who are looking for a new stylist!

A great find while on a work trip to Chicago.i was able to get a color consultation the same day I called and coloring the next day in the morning with Aida.she was very patient and took her time with the style I wanted. My hair turned amazing. Great vibes, everyone was so nice and welcoming with fun conversations during my visit. I would fly back just to get my hair done here again.

CeCe was amazing. Kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable - I made a spur of the moment appointment as I work nearby and had a big event that night. I had just had my hair cut by my regular stylist, but it had no shape...again. I used to have cute, short curly hair, but after we moved, the new person I've gone to just hasn't been able to cut it correctly. Well, CeCe found my missing cute curly hair and gave it back to me! I'm so, so happy with her work and will definitely make her my go-to stylist. Thank you, CeCe! You're a miracle worker!!

I really wish I could give Aida more than 5 stars. She uses the Vidal Sassoon method of only using scissors, no “cutting corners” in order for the cut to go faster. The color she gave me is the most gorgeous color, totally natural, and I was mesmerized! I’m seeing her again this week for a trim. I am so blessed to have found CeCe and Aida!! It was a long haircut but totally worth it.

I was having a rough few weeks at work, and decided to get a much needed hair cut. I found Cece through these yelp reviews, she was exactly what I needed... from the ambience of the salon, to her conversation, and to the most obvious an outstanding haircut!
