I had a great experience moving in today. Catalina showed me my unit at the Bartlett location and I ultimately decided it’s too small so she took me to the Schaumburg location and showed me the perfect size unit. She was extremely helpful, the units are clean, and it’s a seamless process.

I've had a 10x24 unit here for eight years, but after the latest price hike I was ready to leave. Catalina returned my call promptly, interacted with CubeSmart corporate on my behalf, and reached a good enough resolution for me to stay.

I was pressured to leave a 5 star review when I met the new managers. I now regret that. The facility is clean and well maintained. However, I got stuck in the elevator on the first day I tried to move in. Even the firemen who eventually got me out of the elevator were annoyed with the manager (who became a bit unhinged). Two days later, the elevator is still out-of-order. They offered me a truck to move-in. After one follow-up phone call to say they would notify me when it’s available, I have heard nothing since then. The $25/month discount price is only good for 4 months. To maintain the discount rate, you need to pay for a year in advance. The manager kept pressuring me to pay in advance, right after I was freed from their broken-down elevator. I did not find that appropriate. All told, it’s a decent place. I’m just not as impressed with the new management.

This place is a bunch of thugs! I had my car recently stolen and I now live out of state of my unit. I told Catalina about my situation and scheduled to change to a cheaper/smaller unit that I could afford since of my circumstances. Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the appointment since I was dealing with the stolen car situation which ran late, so I could no longer switch units while I was in town and I am trying to pay the month of September (which is late) but I told them October payment would be late. They said they would not take payment unless it was full and WILL NOW CHARGE 110 FEE LIEN UNLESS I GIVE THEM FULL PAYMENT. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE BILL IS LITERALLY DUE TODAY. THEY'RE BASICALLY THUGS HOLDNG YOU AT GUN POINT SAYING PAY UP OR GET LOST

CubeSmart was very accommodating to my needs. I inadvertently rented a second floor unit, not knowing in advance that I needed a ground level unit to make moving furniture easier and CubeSmart was more than happy to make these changes for me.

The manager Letti was pleasant and thorough when she first showed us the unit and rented it to us. This location is one of the very few storage facilities that is actually staffed. The price for the unit was reasonable.

The rent increases yet they do nothing about the pond that forms after rains. And on top the entrance from the streets is just horrible .
